“Fantastic accommodation and wonderful service”
Reviewed 10 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We were met in central Locorotondo by Rosanna who was such a helpful and cheerful host. She led us to Trulli Angela which was exactly as described on the web site and looked as wonderful as in the pictures. We have no hesitation in recommending this Trullo stay and will be back again when we visit Puglia n the future.

“Exactly what I needed after a long tiring winter!”
Reviewed 30 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We spent a very relaxing, peaceful week in Trulli Angela in a very comfortable and beautifully restored "trullo". The location was very pretty, with lovely views of the countryside, and was well positioned so we could reach near Locorotondo in a few minutes. Other attractive places such as Cisternino or Martina Franca were also within easy reach with a short drive. The accommodation was comfortable and peaceful and the service attentive. Definitely a place we would go to again.

“Perfect in every way”
Reviewed 17 July 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We spent 4 glorious nights in Trulli Angela. The first thing that strikes you is the wonderful white rooftops then the calmness of it all. The trullis are set in beautiful grounds in a quite area but within walking distance to the town. Rossana the host is full of good ideas for restaurants and visits. I truely recommend it

“Beautiful trullo and super-helpful owner”
Reviewed 25 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We stayed in the one-bedroom Trullo del Leccio (80 euros per night in June for stays of a week or more). As others have mentioned, it has been beautifully restored, with spacious and airy main rooms, sweet little kitchen (with good washing machine and full-sized fridge freezer) and a lovely bathroom with rainfall shower. Everything is immaculately clean and linen was changed halfway through our nine-day stay. Local olive oil and nibbles awaited us on our arrival. The gardens are extensive and really well kept, with private jasmine-screened seating areas for the different trulli. The pool is fabulous and we had it to ourselves all week in early June to make the most of the hot weather.

We decided to manage without a car (don’t drive regularly in London where we live) and Rosanna, the owner, was incredibly helpful – lent us her family’s own bikes for the whole time we stayed, bought us bike locks specially, offered to fetch bulkier shopping, spent half a day driving us round the local places that are harder to reach by public transport (not even letting us pay for the petrol), and dropped us to the train on our last day. She probably wouldn’t have time to do this in high season but it shows the dedication she puts into looking after her guests.

You can definitely enjoy Trulli Angela without a car, even without the bonus of Rosanna’s driving services – the town is a fifteen minute walk away through quiet lanes and fields (if you don’t mind a final climb up a hundred or so steps…) and you can do lots of day trips by train (Alberobello, Cisternino, Martina Franca, the Castellana caves) as well as enjoying daily life in Locorotondo (great restaurants). There is a supermarket on Via Cisternino, within five minutes’ walk of the centro storico (definitely worth doing your main shop at the Friday morning market, though!)

A lovely, great-value trullo and a great stay.

I definetely loved the slow life you choose for your journey in Locorotondo, walking down our narrow street and having long bicycle rides across Valle d'Itria! One of the best way to enjoy our land! It was a pleasure spend some time with you in Ostuni and have that good lunch with sea food!
Great pleasure to meet you and thanks for this kind words! Rosannaxxx

“beautifully restored trulli. excellent value for money.”
Reviewed 17 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We stayed in trullo mandorlo, one of i think 5 other beautifully restored trulli on the trulli angela location. The photographs on the internet are very good and are true to life. The trulli sleeps 6 with 3 double bedrooms which all have their own beautiful tiled bathrooms. The master bedroom has an amazing plunge pool bath (with shower head above). I have never stayed anywhere so amazing. The restoration was obviously undertaken with great care and attention to detail and many of the original features remain. The stone really does keep things cool in summer and the shuttered windows keep the sun out in the early mornings - ideal for keeping our early rising kids in bed for a bit longer!! It is extremely clean and the kitchen has lovely touches like a belfast style stone double sink. The furniture is all solid wood. The beds are comfy. The bathrooms look like they have never been used! Not to dwell on sinks, but the master bathroom sink is incredible with shells, seaweed and starfish incorporated into the resin. So beautiful! The grounds and pool are also great. Immaculately kept. Rosanna the owner is very helpful and her English is faultless. Highly recommended.
