Clean, well maintained rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Great, generosity portioned food. Wide range of specials daily. Totally recommend a visit. Great breakfast and always willing to accommodate an early start. Only down side is there are only 8 rooms so can be fully booked.

We visit quite often in the week for our tea it's always our first choice, we take our little boy who always enjoys his food.

WE had lunch at this pub. It was not out first visit and will not be our last. Their is a lunchtime menu reasonably priced at £8.95 with plenty of choice but a la carte is also available. Food was served hot and staff were very friendly. Highly recommended.

We came to Woodhall Spa for the second year to do the triathlon. We stayed at the village limits last year but didn't eat so we decided that we would go for dinner this year (couldn't stay as it was fully booked). When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman who was behind the bar, he showed us to the table and gave us the menu and specials board. It was very quiet when we arrived. The waitress then came and took our drinks order and the drinks arrived very swiftly. We ordered our food quickly but were by no means rushed to do so. The menu was very good and the prices seem reasonable. The restaurant began to fill up very quickly but our food was still served in a decent amount of time. I had the goat's cheese and caramelised onion tart which was lovely and great for a summery evening. Mum and I shared the medley of vegetables and mashed potato which were both very tasty and a great addition to the meal. The desserts were incredible and the ice cream, which is sourced locally was so nice. They took a little while to come but we were in no rush and it was very busy. The waitress' was very apologetic but there was no need to be as they were trying there best on a very hot and busy evening. Couldn't fault the staff or the food at all. Great restaurant in a lovely location.

Very nice rooms, spotlessly clean and pleasantly decorated.
The food in the pub is excellent, the main reason why we stay there. Good choice of locally sourced food on the menu, meals are well presented.
Staff are very friendly and helpful, it's a pleasure to stay there.
