Modern, recently opened hotel, situated on the outskirts of Dublin but with good access to public transport ( buses and the DART train system). The room we had ( a deluxe King), was a bit on the small side I thought; there was tea/ coffee making equipment but no fridge. Bathroom was shower only. The bed however was very comfortable. We didn’t try their breakfast, but ate dinner in the restaurant – reasonably wide choice, well priced with friendly staff and efficient service. In fact, all the staff we met, were extremely helpful and efficient.
My ‘green’ criticisms are that there’s nowhere to dry towels. No drying rack, radiators or heated towel rail, just hooks on the back of the bathroom door. So unless you’re happy to reuse damp towels (I don’t mind reusing dry ones), you had to have new towels each day. Additionally there wasn’t a recycling bin in the room as we’d had in other Irish hotels. I’d expect at least to separate newspapers and plastic bottles for recycling. But maybe that’s too difficult with so many international guests.
