Very nice, could be a bit better.

Good hotel, lovely surroundings and we liked it. Very traditional and classy. But bar service very poor. Food in bar not bad but restaurant prices. Beds very nice. Bath very old and very slippy. all in all could do with some modernising. All in all lovely.

This hotel is stunning! The staff is outstanding. Be sure and add breakfast, it’s delicious! The rooms are large and comfortable. There are two delicious dining options on site. If staying here budget taxi fares because you will have to taxi to sites and back.

We started and ended our road trip through Ireland at this location. It is a great place to stay, very friendly staff all over the place, large parking space, a large and clean garden. Nice breakfast buffet with sufficient choice. Well located in a quiet location not far from the city center of Dublin.

What a place to be, came here on my holiday woth my partner and all I can say is WOW! When arriving at this location you feel like your walking towards a Manor. Easy bus route there and to town if you wish and cheap as well. When walking towards the building they had a lovely fountain out front which was beautiful. We came in January so it was cold so unfortunately didn't see the gardens in its full bloom however assessing the grass and surroundings you can tell its very well maintained and clean. When walking in the front doors your welcomed by a lovely lit fireplace with another lit fireplace in the reception area. Upon checking in the staff was lovey and made us feel very welcome not only to the hotel but to dublin, also robbed some free sweets hehe. When entering our room everything was clean, not 1 fault at all or even dirt. The shower was working perfect, heating was working and the coffee station was all stocked up daily. Plenty of space and plenty of space for storage. We had a lovely view of the gardens out the back as well and would definitely recommend to come here in summer season to see the lovely garden in its full bloom. We didn't buy the breakfast deal only daily because we didn't think we would have breakfast but turns out every day we did, we was welcomed and its a all you can eat type of breakfast which was cooked perfectly. You can even request scrambled or poached egg and many other things if you so wish. The restaurant food was fantastic the only thing is, it's small portions however filling and you must try there cocktails. I'm a mixologist myself and with there cocktails all I can say was perfect quantity of alcohol to soft drink. Sorry I didn't get any names but all the staff was fantastic and played a very professional and formal role 👏 when I next visit dublin I would be staying again, cannot rate the spa as didn't use but did check the gym out and there's not much I can say apart from its a gym and clean. No pool but the spa makes up for this. Thank you for an amazing experience and making the trip loveable.

Room tip: Try out there spa and gym and if you don't have breakfast like myself. Definitely give it a try and if you love it don't do what I did and book for breakfast for your holiday.

What a beautiful place for a family lunch. Stunning scenery, excellent service and very nice food, only let down by bizarre portion control on some items.

Burger as you can see was generous and a properly meal. The spaghetti was only half a plate ! With out the extra prawns and chips it would leave you starved. There is also a lamb dish which is pricey and tiny. And finally those €9 deserts are actually two portions and not one. Couldn’t believe how small they were.
