What a find this place is for single or couple travellers.
The beach side bungalows are amazing waking up looking out onto the lagoon from an elevated bed. A huge bathroom with an external outdoor shower when coming from the beach. Small kitchenette with cooking facilities. Large deck which gets the sun in the morning.
All the staff from the gardeners to the restaurant crew were awesome and so friendly but then again everyone is friendly in the Cook Islands.
They can arrange transport from and to the airport which is on the other side of the island at a cost of NZ$50 per person each way. The also organised my day trip to Aitutaki which is a must do if you are not staying on there. A fantastic day starts with an early morning flight of about 40 minutes followed by a bus tour of the Aitutaki Heights area followed by the CBD....those that have been there will understand this is a shot at other big cities....the tour is about an hour before boarding the catamaran for a few hours of island hoping in the lagoon and lots of snorkelling with a fantastic bbq lunch prepared by the band on board.
The Cook Islands is an amazing place not as developed as Fiji or New Caledonia however is more advanced that Vanuatu. This was my first trip there however I will return.More
