“Worst Breakfast Ever”
Reviewed 20 January 2012

The location of this cafe was brilliant. We sat at a table by the infinity pool and were looking forward with great anticipation to our breakfast. Having read some of the other reviews I am finding it hard to come to terms with just how awful our breakfast was. The eggs were so over cooked that you could have turned them into an aerial missile. The sausages were a Saveloy type pre-cooked/processed sausage and the bacon was unrecognisable as bacon in look or flavour. I had the real misfortune however of ordering the fish cakes which were made from a mixture of processed fish all blended together and then fried into a greasy, rubbery pattie. It was truly awful. Luckily the resident cat was on duty to eat them. I was greatly relieved when the lady at the table next to us, upon receiving her fish cakes, asked her husband if his meal was processed. The icing on the cake was the price. From memory each meal cost around $28, an exhorbitant amount for the greasy processed food that we received.

“Best Meal we had in Raro by far”
Reviewed 12 December 2011

The Little Polynesian is by far the best meal we had on he island-the meals are delicious, great quality and well sized.
The service is fantastic-staff offered to walk down to the beach and take photos of us!
But by far the best part is the setting-the infinity pool, the beach at sunset, the candles..so picturesque and romantic! Save it for a special night, just what we were after on our honeymoon!

“Our wedding dinner was just perfect!”
Reviewed 7 December 2011

My husband and I eloped to the Cook Islands and were looking for somewhere magical to have our wedding dinner. We looked at a few places before going to the Little Poly, but on recommendation from quite a few people, we decided to book here.

We originally booked a table on the beach, that the staff were going to decorate with tiki torches, candles and flowers. Unfortunately the weather turned bad that night, but the staff already had a plan B! They decorated a private gazebo for us, with tulle everywhere, tea lights, torches...it was very very romantic.

The food here was just to die for, I daresay it was the best on the island. But the best part of our experience was the service. Billie and the other girl (I'm sorry I can't remember her name) were very attentive and saw to it that the first night of our marriage was just perfect. I can't say enough about the service, thank you ladies!
