I took my three children ages 7, 10 and 11 years. My youngest was expecting to be able to make dens as per the pictures on the website. The 'den building' is basically an already built frame which children can place the very neat and polished sticks on. My son couldn't do it as it had already been done by some other kids. The indoor play area is a typical indoor play area but built out of wood. It became busy full of children of all ages. There is not nearly enough seating for parents so they were sat inside the actually climbing area. So many adults were holding scolding hot coffees in there, it was unbelievable. Small babies were crawling around unsupervised. It was too crowded but freezing outside. The outdoor area is not fantastic. I paid £10.50 for each child and £8 for myself and we spun it out for 1.5 hours but this was too long really.
We waiting half an hour for the food to arrive after ordering. The pizza was good but the jacket potato tasted old!
Not very good value for money. Yorkshire Wildlife Park has the same outdoor play equipment but much more of it, plus other play areas and all of the animals for a similarly priced day out yet you could spend 10 hours in Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
Williams Den is over rated and not worth the money. The 'tree house ' pictures you see on the website are not outside - its in door.
