Found this lovely place in the middle of a thunderstorm on 9/9. No room in the restaurant as was full but we sat in the bar and had our pick from the restaurant menu. We chose from the 3 courses for £29.95 menu. I had pork terrine, guinea fowl, followed by lemon posset, my husband had mackerel, guinea fowl and creme brulee. The service was really quick and the food was delicious, when the mashed potato with the guinea fowl arrived, it was a little lukewarm but this was quickly rectified. The lemon posset came with some delicious honeycomb. All in all, a fantastic meal, and a big thanks to the staff there who made the evening meal very special for us. (We actually got married at 11.30 on Saturday morning so this finished the day nicely).
