I stayed there for 3 nights. Very good and relaxed location, 10 minutes walk to the
village. Good rooms, basic breakfast..., helpfull reception. Easter Island is like a dream ! Definately one of my best visits of the 120 counties I visited.

The place felt like a museum of lush flaura, exceptionally well maintained and beaming in variety. The rooms are fairly spacious (ours, unfortunately reeked of mildew). Good wifi in the reception area. Breakfast is typical. Much of the furniture is Victorian, which gives the place a quaint, amusing decor. Staff, very friendly. The airport is less than two blocks and there is a restaurant across from the airport. Otherwise, it is quite a hike to get to the center of town where life and activity abounds.

Ok to explore from here. The hotel is clean but very outdated and the rooms are dark and dingy. There are some bungalows which are a fraction nicer and roomier but in comparison do not come here for the hotel experience.
The attraction is Easter Island, the Rapa Nui, history and heritage. Bearing this in mind this is a place to sleep and the bed is comfortable. The staff are accommodating and very helpful.
Tours of the Island with visiting the national park are readily available and the only reason to come here. Bike hire is also available and for the very sporty can be a fantastic way to explore the island with its story, volcano and statues.
This place is truly magical and also a stark reminder what humans are capable of creating and the vast destruction and havoc they cause.
The national park is quite pricy (I believe in the region of 100$) but worth it. The money does go to the upkeep and this is taken very seriously here. Stepping of the path is definitely not allowed and many park rangers are at hand to ensure visitors are not taking more than pictures and memories and do not step of the guided paths.
Restaurants are available within walking distance of the hotel and food and drink very tasty but again very expensive by european standard - they again most goods have to be imported.

Room tip: wifi only available with luck in the reception area

This hotel was booked as part of a package deal so I'm not sure of the exact rate. It was in a great location - actually walkable from the airport. Don't worry - only 1 or 2 flights a day. The walk to town was about 20 minutes. It's a very lush setting - lots of trees and flowers. Resident roosters and hens .... lots of charm there. Our room was clean and the maid service was good. The bathroom could stand some updates, but considering how remote the whole location of the island was, it was okay. No, I couldn't get wifi in the room, but a quick walk closer to the lobby was enough to hook up. The breakfast in the morning as good - breads, cake, jams, cheese and some ham. Lots of fruit juices and coffee and tea. Can't complain. Is it luxurious - no. But definitely adequate. I was a little nervous about the safety of our things due to having no room safe. But all was good.

The hotel is well located in Hanga Roa where everything in town is in walking distance. The breakfast was great, the rooms were spacious, clean, and with beautiful pathways and gardens. The hotel also has a pool which was a good temperature and well maintained. The staff were very friendly. The only disappointment was that they were supposed to pick us up from the airport but they neglected to do so (although it turns out we didn't really need the airport pickup since the hotel is a <5 minute walk from the airport). Other than that we have nothing bad to say! Thanks for an enjoyable stay.
