Well, after claimed the first received room, which was not acceptable at all I reveived a better one. The breakfast room is so dark, without light and full of tables that you do not feel confortable. The breakfast (food) is cheap quality, a pitty because in Bavaria there is existing good food. The Hotel became in the past known as there are not a lot of Hotels with Pool and Spa. But it is far away from a 5 stars Hotel. In my room (2. floor) had been a lot of ants. The owner of the Hotel shoud increase quality standard (food & rooms). The Crew itself was friendly and helpfull. As a lot of times it is not the Crew/Team, it is the owner who is responable for low quality and other unconfortable rules given to the Team/Crew on the Reception etc. in general do the rooms have no windows (only doors) to open (at least those rooms i saw), which during summer times without AC makes it really complicated. Hope to receive the next time again a good quite room and maybe to have a good Bavarian „Brezel“ on the breakfast. Leberkäse ? Incredible that this main bavarian „food“ is as well not available during breakfast.

On check in the staff were very friendly. The room was ready for us when we arrived.
We used the spa, and ordered some drinks, which were reasonably priced.

The spa area consists of a good size pool, which has jets to create a lazy river, and some waterfalls etc. There is a jacuzzi, a heated outdoor pool and some saunas and steam rooms.

We paid about 100GBP for the night in the hotel, including spa access from check in, until 2300, and then until check out at noon the next day, so it is reasonably priced.

We ate at the bar near the pool, where the choice, albeit a little limited, was good and again a good price. There is a more formal restaurant if required.

Would recommend for a nice relaxing stay.

Room Tip: We were in room 114, which is close to the spa, but not close enough to hear noise.

My Wife and I stayed here for the weekend and had a wonderful time! If you’re looking for a high class wellness hotel with several saunas, steam rooms, massage services, etc., I would recommend this hotel.

Everything about this hotel is very high class. The restaurant, the service, the wellness services. The only problem i had was with room itself. Minor problems, but still a few things that shouldn’t happen at a 4-star hotel.

1. The room doesn’t have a stand alone shower. It only has a bath tub. See the pic for a better idea. Who takes a bath at a wellness hotel? It’s time to upgrade to a real shower.

2. The room didn’t have a working safe. Again, we made it work, but a 4-star hotel should have a good safe in the room.

3. It’s 2017...if you spend €300 for two nights, you shouldn’t have to pay for internet service. Again, it’s 2017. Get with the times.

With all of that said, those are minor complaints and you shouldn’t let that be a determining factor. You just need to know what to expect.

We did not eat dinner at the hotel restaurant because it looked a little too upscale and a little out of our price range. But breakfast was very good!

We also did not use their massage services, but they looked very relaxing and inviting and I would expect them to be very good.

We would definitely go back, which is he best thing I can say about any hotel.

We stayed for one night as a stopover. Check in was quick and staff friendly. They spoke very good english.

The room was good, fairly large with a desk and chairs, no air conditioning though which made it rather hot, we slept with the balcony door open...

Robe and slippers provided on the bed. We went straight down to the spa area which was about 3pm on a Thursday, we had it to ourselves. Fantastic indoor and outdoor pool with water jet/water fall features. Jacuzzi, loungers, sofas, multiple saunas, ice showers, aromatherapy spas. Very impressed and all included in the price.

We didnt have to pay for parking and there was plenty of it.

We enjoyed cocktails and dinner at the hotel bar. The fine dining restaurant looked nice but a bit pricy and not our sort of thing. We preferred to sit in the sun by the pool and eat the burger and hot chicken sandwich.

We managed to get one night, with breakfast for 2, parking and spa use for £86. Cant fault that.

Steps up to reception, no ramp. So if you are using a wheelchair, pushchair or even wheeled luggage, it will be a struggle. And the lift isn't big enough to take a wheelchair anyway.

We had asked in advance for a cot/crib for our two year old. We got a wooden roll away bed. Quite cute, until the two year old falls out, runs around... And it seemed odd that, with only a small handful of rooms in use, we were put on the top floor furthest away from reception, with a toddler and many bags. And then someone moved in next door...

The room was next to another adjoining room, but with a single door separating them, not the usual double door set up. We discovered this when the neighbour arrived at 2200, trying to enter our room. The lack of sound insulation meant we knew his nationality, his relationship status, even his use of the toilet. And he liked his TV on loud late at night.

A warm summer's night meant a very hot room. No air conditioning or fan. No bath mat, so the bathroom floor was quite slippy. And no hand soap for the sink.

Breakfast was ok

€2 per night for parking in an open car park, thus just seems like profiteering.

Not a very family friendly hotel,
