This was one of our favorite places that we stayed during our trip to Ireland! The accommodation is a large horse trailer that has been converted into a cabin, with wood interior, a sitting area, two loft beds, a small kitchen area and shower, and a wood-burning stove- it was like being in a traditional caravan! The hosts, Eva and Stephen, were wonderful company and very helpful, and Eva prepared fantastic full Irish breakfasts with meats from the farm. My wife and I very much enjoyed evenings hanging out in the trailer with the wood stove warming the place, and mornings having breakfast with our hosts and talking about the farm and the surrounding countryside.
We have just returned home after a weekend in Kilfenora. It was the 2 of us and our 10 year old. We had the most amazing 2 night stay we have had. It is so peaceful and fresh. My son absolutely loved it and is already asking when we can go back. I was worried as the weather was so bad but to be honest that made our stay even better as we were forced to play games and talk. Thank you so much Stephen and Eva, good luck with the rest of this season. Orlaith, James and Tadhg x
Not your usual irish B&B accommodation.
An old horse carrier has been transformed into an apartment.
2 balconies with a small living/dining room, shower, toilet is kind of attached to it from the outside and also 2 double bed right beside each other or you can say 1 above the other kind of tilted way and also a sofa can be used I the kitchen as the third bed.
Small and compact but has everything what your family would need.
Host are lovely and helpful.
Lady is from Finnland and gentlemen is from Ireland.
Great breakfast has been served in their house 1 minute walk away.
Peaceful stay, really comfy beds.
My only complain would be the breakfast, which was Not included and cost €15 per person, kind of expensive.
