“Ellie Ann cottage”
Reviewed 3 April 2018 for a stay in March 2018

Just come back from a lovely week at Ellie Ann cottage, the cottage is lovely and clean with a window looking out to the sea. The place is lovely, the dog loved the walks around the area and the pub was very friendly (take money for the pub cash only) we had a lovely week even the teenage boys enjoyed themselves ! We also drove over to Aviemore where the boys went skiing. Would definitely return.

“Great cottage in beautiful coastal village”
Reviewed 23 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We found the cottage to be clean, comfortable, well equipped and as described by the owners. It's very close to the beach and set back and elevated behind the seafront cottages with a sea view from one of the lounge windows and a bedroom window. We enjoyed walks on the large beach and the beautiful coastal headland. The beach and rocks were great for bird life - curlew, dunlin, redshank, greenshank, turnstone, oystercatchers, etc and there's a colony of gannets at nearby Troup Head (walkable although we didn't). The Garden Arms pub do excellent bar meals and the local Seaman's Mission offer teas, coffees and cakes in the afternoon and evenings. We met lots of people both local and visitors and everyone was very friendly.
We intend to go back to Gardenstown and would have no hesitation booking Ellie-Ann if available.

Just back from a very relaxing week long holiday in Gardenstown. The natural beauty of the area is stunning with lots to do for kids.
Accommodation was good and big enough for a family of 4. We were spoiled with the weather, bright sunshine every day and long walks. This is our first time staying in this area and would go back, try it you won't be disappointed.

We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Ellie-Ann Cottage, your dog must have felt very spoiled to be able to start every day with a run on the beach! After all it is his holiday to enjoy too! We certainly hope that you will be back very very soon.
