If you visit in Maniwaya Sta.Cruz Marinduque you do not repent, go there because many beaches are beautiful white sand and clean their seas. Those who live there are kind. The most fascinated is Palad Sandbar because it is ultimate in the middle of the sea.

travelled 2hrs boat but then we were so disappointed to see all those trash and alot of trash that I havent taken a pic. I really dont advice to you not to visit during rainy season. I am not just sure on Summer days if the same dirt are all over the area.

Awesome well reserved beach - just hard to haggle with the boat price so i suggest you come with a group or come early before 10PM to the port so you can commute for lesser price

It took as 5 hours of land travel from pasay manila to quezon general luna port and 1 hour boat ride to get there but all is worth it when you arrive. The waters are so clear when you're near the shore and crystal blue on the deeper parts. Its beach has white sand with other parts having shell type sand. The thing i love the most in this place is that tourist here are still at minimal. The place is not yet commercialized so you can just seat and relax near the beach without being disturbed. Only reminder is to bring food and snacks since their is no restaurant around the beach area except for the resort's kitchen.

We stayed here during the Holy Week, before we proceeded to mainland Marinduque. If you want a nice view of the sunset, choose to pitch your tent at Wawie's though the beach is wide there and open to anybody. We stayed at Playa Amara where visitors are less. If you prefer calm sea and light sand, the beach here is ideal for you. The food offered here though are limited and a bit expensive so you may choose to do your own cooking. Maniwaya does not have the nightlife vibe (yet) of Puerto Galera and Boracay but it offers a nice getaway just to relax with families and friends.
