I've only ever had the ceviche there but I really need to go back and try other items on the menu! They also offer takeout which is a real bonus

You can eat fresh seafood in Rey Bombon. Ceviche is really good (fish or shrimp). Not a fancy place, but the relationship price-food is one of the best in the neighborhood. We tryied tostadas de pulpo, ceviche de camarón, empanadas de camarón and ceviche. Eveything was really good!

We stopped here on a whim after shopping at one of the local grocers across the street just looking for something to drink. It was mid afternoon but we were welcomed in. All five of us ordered a Pina Colada. They were as good as any we have ever had in Mexico. The next thing we know they bring us a big plate of Ceviche to snack on, no charge! Was it ever good, very fresh and well seasoned.

Thanks Rey Bombon

We were taken to eat at Rey Bombon about 17 years ago...and sometimes we skip a few years -- but each time we go it is better and better! This month 10 of us went as my kids were visiting and they wanted to go. The portions were incredible and the food was delicious. Shrimp cevice was fresh, service was great -- not exactly French service --as the food is prepared, it get served., but it was all-in-all, great! Only complain: they used to have these really good fried toastadas and the Rey told me they switched to the baked ones as they are heathhier...I miss the old greasy ones!!

The title says it all.

Cute little traditional Mexican restaurant, but the service was spotty and we went lengthy intervals without beverage refills.

Food was OK, but nothing compared to the street vendors at the fish market or Pipi's in Puerto Vallerta
