Getting there. Short taxi drive to the hotel; only 2 minutes from the airport. Free hotel shuttle available for outbound flights.

Check-in was easy. Just sign reservation sheet and they gave us a (physical) key to our room.

Room has a lot of character and if you are nostalgic for a Caribbean vacation this is the place for you. King bed in 3B (pool view room) was very comfortable. Garden view rooms also available.

Restaurant. Kariwak has their own herb and vegetable garden for the kitchen. Everything is fresh made. Room rate includes a generous and tasty breakfast with fresh fruit, juice, coffee/tea, cereal, fresh made yogurt and today’s special was Spanish egg omelette. Dinner is a fixed price set menu each night, with a choice of two main course selections. A la carte is not available. The meals were delicious during our short 2 night stay. Outside the breakfast and dinner hours, you can order from a daytime menu of sandwiches and salads.

Activities. They offer a shuttle to Pigeon Point heritage park with 10:30 am drop off, pickup at 4:00 pm. The free Kariwak shuttle saves you about $50TT taxi fare one way. We tried their morning yoga class at 8:00 am - 9:15 am from Ginny. It’s suitable if you are a beginner. You can’t beat the atmosphere of yoga in an open air ajoupa hut, next to a waterfall, with all the tropical birds singing around you. I felt like we were in a travel video. Next we squeezed in a 1 hour massage, booked with 1 day notice. Incredibly relaxing to have a full body massage from our masseur, Anthony J.

Hammocks for relaxing are located near the waterfall jacuzzi.

Laundry service available for reasonable cost ($1.50 - $5 TT per item) and very promptly delivered back to your room.

This is such a cozy and amazing hotel. So clise to the airport but feels like in a totally different part of Tobago. Surrounded by trees it makes this place so inviting. The front desk person was such a darling. She made sure we were very comfortable. The pool never closes and the breakfast is so delicious. Make sure and have the fry flying fish.... Will definately recommend this place.....

Loved the salad the peppermint ice cream was delicious, enjoyed my pineapple and passion fruit drink but was not impressed with the rest of the dinner, I expected a more exceptional Dinner, the owner Mr Clovis was friendly though he sat having dinner too.

I was staying elsewhere but came for the yoga. Loved the classes. They have a beautiful ajupa with all the yoga mats and props. I took Restorative, Hatha and Gantle Vinyasa in the mornings and the teachers were amazing and very knowledgeable. In particular, I had the opportunity to chat with Tanya and she gave me excellent advice and personalized attention. Highly recommend for yoga. Ask about the schedule before you go though- the one I found online was not up-to-date.

We and our guests stayed here for our wedding in Tobago. It was perfection! The grounds are well maintained, the rooms are clean and the pool is lovely! We enjoyed taking yoga classes in the morning. The food was everything!!! So good. I highly recommend staying here.
