The team at Chandolin Boutique Hotel makes you feel very welcome, in a very relaxing atmosphere. The hotel design fits well with the beautiful surroundings. Nice trekking opportunities abound. The restaurant itself would be worth the trip, making the best use of local products.

This was a short break and one I would repeat at the extremely comfortable boutique hotel in the mountains above Sierre in the French speaking part of Switzerland. The food was amazing as was the service and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I came by train from Geneva to Sierre and then by connecting poste bus. The trip took 3 hours but was part of the experience with fantastic scenery whilst travelling up to 2000metres. There is an outdoor Jacuzzi and a plunge pool just right after a day's hiking

Dear Guest,

We sincerely thank you for choosing the Chandolin Boutique Hotel while exploring Val d'Anniviers... and for your nice comment about our property !

In one of the highest unhabitated villages of Europe, we are a fully-fledged destination, absolutely. From Geneva, only 3 hours of an incredible journey to get lost and find yourself...

We hope having the pleasure of welcoming again : A short break at winter time maybe ?

With our best sunny regards from the Chandolin Boutique Hotel,

Charlotte, Jean-Marc & the whole team

This hotel has everyting you would expect from a classy Boutique hotel. Friendly staff, excellent rooms with great amenities, free jacuzzi and a lot more. The Restaurant is a subject for a special mention. Fantastic food. It is justifiable to travel a long distance just to enjoy a dinner at the hotel.
Then it are the hiking routes all around and natur to complement things.
All in all making this one of our best experience in a long time.

Travelling to Chandolin is not listed on most frequently traveled destinations in Switzerland.

Luckily, we've seen a magazine with a story about a new Design Hotel in Switzerland that is ideal for hiking in the mountains during the summer.

The drive to Chandolin is an adventure by itself as it's a never-ending serpentine climbing to this mountain top village through pictures villages and breathtaking view.

This is indeed a Boutique Design Hotel. Intimate hotel with small number of rooms and unique design that is mostly prevalent in the Restaurant. The hotel has no real lobby and guests are welcome to enjoy the restaurant and it's balcony throughout the day and night. This is where the complementary breakfast is served as well as lunch and diner.

The Restaurant is a Chef Restaurant. One that spent many years working with the late Joël Robuchon - the most Michelin - starred chef in history. So the food quality, balanced tastes and presentation don't fall short of Michelin Stared restaurant.

The stuff is extremely friendly and takes the cue from the owner that attend the guests like all the other waitress, as well as the hotel manager that always accommodating and smiling.

Hiking options are endless with the complementary lifts pas to all open lifts in the area during the summer.

This hotel is worth the special trip but make sure to stay for at least three nights to really enjoyed it all.

The southern facing rooms has the view of the valley with the changing colors throughout the day.
