Simply amazing. Great food. You must have the taglaiata meet. Service was great too. We have the parma and parmeggiano starter that would easily serve four to begin.

Beautiful tasting food and amazing steaks. Would love the recipe for the truffle sauce it was excellent. Good value also 👏🏼
Horrendous service and completely unsympathetic! I wrote to IBDV after my family was unable to travel from France for Christmas. Our reservation was booked for the 28th. I then called on 24th Dec to ask if we could move the reservation to January after paying...£100 deposit. I was asked to text but didn’t get a response so I texted again on 26th to get an answer and was told that THEY were cancelling our reservation. I then said we’d like to move it to January and they came back telling us they were fully booked until 19th March. They cancelled our reservation without my consent and now our saying they will retain our deposit- is that legal? I don’t think so!!! I asked them to refund us considering they are full and managed to replace us and they are refusing… not the first time these cowboys are being dishonest- I am willing to take this as far as I can. I too have a business and will never take advantage of my customers the way they have. Horrible people who don’t care about their customers. Don’t go there!!More

Had a lovely birthday dinner for our yougest daughter (age 12). Many meats on the menu. We had the sausages and the tagliata (thin sliced steak, 2 versions). Especially the tagliata with rocket and parmesan was great. Lots of nice wines to chose from, at...good prices. We had one of the Bolgheri's. (Many musquito's.)More
Came here with my partner during our stay in Florence. The waitress brought us bread, oil and balsamic vinegar but no plates to eat it from. I ordered duck with balsamic sauce which came out barely cooked and was very unplesant. My partner ordered pork...and mushroom spagetti which although tasted nice had almost no meat. We waited 20 minutes after finishing our meals for someone to come and take our plates and provide the bill so we had to go to the till ourselves. The bill was more than we expected and so we asked what was included which the waitress didnt want to discuss and responded “just food”. When she eventually showed us the receipt they had added a $4 service charge despite the waitress not bringing plates for our bread or asking how our meal was at any point and charged us €2 for a tap water each.. When we asked if we could remove the service charge due to the lack of service and if charging for tap water was the norm, the waitress said she didnt understand english. Really disappointing meal - i would not recommend this to anyone unless you’re local or Italian - as a large group of people who were seated during our meal (all native speakers) seemed to get a much warmer reception, a visit from the chef to discuss their meal choices and far better service from the waitress.More
I highly recommend this place. If you enjoy places "where locals go" this one is a must visit and is worth a detour. Possibly best ravioli in thick ragu sauce I've had in many years. Steak tartar gets 4 of 5. Desserts are great too...(esp. tiramisu and chocolate souffle).More
Really good spread for the whole family. House wine is pretty drinkable and service was excellent. We ended up sharing and eating a variety of dishes across the menu, all were good, only let down by the desserts which were not that great.
Had dinner here with a big group of friends, we were offered a big amount of apetizer wine and beef for 30 euro, I thought as an Italian restaurant I would leave the place with the stomach full as usual, but it was the other...way round, the meat was good but it was 4 stripes per person!! I mean, is it possible to have to count the food I eat so everyone gets to eat??? The service was not good either, when we told to the owner we were still hungry he just added 2 trays of beef for 30 people! Yet again we had to count literally only 2 stripes of meat so everyone could eat. Unbelievable!! If you can avoid to eat here. Do it!More
Gorgeous food, huge portions of home made authentic Italian food, service was good even though one waitress was serving everyone.Nice setting-only downside was one toilet for ladies and men in the entire place.
I have relocated the restaurant on the Trip Advisor map after it took 2 days to find and hopefully the next reviewer can zero it in further. It's worth persisting since this busy place has excellent local home cooking with every effort going into fresh...ingredients, and sublime flavours. The steak was superb although the septs were clearly an acquired taste. Pork was excellent and the ravioli sauce was astounding. Very pleasant and helpful service easily able to cope with a busy local restaurant. A litre of local red was 6 euros - bargain as very drinkable. Not cheap for a full on meal though 159 euros for four including drinks.More
My boyfriend and I went to this place last night for a meal. It was recommended to us by our hosts and I had also read some great online reviews. We agreed it was our best meal of the trip so far. It's got that...real, authentic Italian feel when you walk through the door. The smell is amazing. It's romantic but not formal. It does feel a bit like sitting in your grandmothers back room. The food was brilliant - we eat a lot is steak and agreed this was up there with the best we've had. All in all, a great evening and you won't go wrong here.More
We had four different plates of pasta, all home made all to die for! These included sauces with tartufo, chianina (beef), lepre (wild rabbit) and cinghiale (wild boar)! We ended up ordering two more portions of the tartufo and of the cinghiale. The host, a...young lady was extremely helpful. The setting was also nice as we sat in their back garden. Would love to go back there again, again and again. A note for the owners - you should double check that your restaurant name etc. features well on Trip Advisor. On your business card it shows as "Il Boccondivino" whereas on Trip Advisor it features as "Boccondivino". Also it was hard to arrive to your location with the GPS. You should double check both your information and GPS location because I am sure that if you do so you will get many more customers, since your home made pasta is the best I have eaten in Tuscany.More
We ate dinner here tonight and we had a wonderful evening. The staff were friendly with excellent English and the food was delicious. We sat outside in a gorgeous courtyard on a balmy night. Just magic. I had the steak with balsamic, Parmesan and pine...nuts and it was perfectly cooked with soooo much flavour. Hubby had the sliced bistecca with truffles which was generous and delicious. The sides of roast potatoes and mixed salad were yummy too. Highly recommend this little gem.More
We visited Boccondivino twice during our stay in Tuscany. We were staying at an agritourism vineyard 15 minutes away. The food was fantastic! Real home made Italian taste, the steak and pasta was amazing. We would have gone back again and again, it's a good...thing this is not near home or else I would be in trouble! The service was great, the young lady server speaks very good English, it's a small place, quaint and warm. We loved it and would highly recommend. Better than places in Milan, Florence, Tuscany!More
We visited Boccondivino after reading the previous recommendation and we were not disappointed! The restaurant feels very traditional and welcoming and the staff could not have been better. There is an outside terrace but the evening we went was a little too cool to try...that. The food was outstanding. We shared a platter of cured beef, rocket and parmesan salad as an appetiser, both had a pasta first course which were really hot and fresh and then we did justice to an incredibly good Steak Fiorentina (1kg minimum weight!) The steak was really well seasoned and very, very tender. Unsurprisingly we had no room for desert! The restaurant was good value with all of the above, a half litre of house wine and an expresso coming to 79 Euros. If you are in the area I would definitely recommend a visit to this little gem.More
