The museum is only open for a limited number of days each year. Plan your visit accordingly - it is well worth seeing. Entry is FREE (donations welcome) with ample free parking on site. Disabled step free access. Be sure to visit "The War Room" and see how Thorney residents made a difference to the war effort. Fascinating history. There is just so much to this village, documented and preserved for posterity here. Staffed by a dedicated team of volunteers. If you've driven by and wondered WHY the village architecture is so, then this is the place to visit to find the answers.
