“Perfect lodge, great location, very peaceful”

The lodge is beautifully appointed and looks like new. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived, bright and airy. It is also very private apart from being slightly overlooked by one other lodge in the distance across the field (but this was no issue). The outside space with the loungers and table would be perfect to use when the weather is a little warmer. The hot tub area is very private and the hot tub is huge and clean! The LED sky lights really added to the atmosphere. The bathroom has a fabulous stand alone tub easily big enough for two. The kitchen has all modern appliances with the added bonus of a dishwasher (4 tablets supplied). We brought a gousto box with us and cooked on each evening. The kitchen is well equipped, including pestle and mortar and even cake tins if you fancy a spot of baking! When we arrived, the non stick pans had seen better days. I called The owner and within 30 minutes 5 new pans had arrived. I'm not sure that level of customer service can be beaten. The train station was a 10 min walk away with a train to Brighton in 11 minutes. This made our stay extra special as we enjoyed a trip to the Lanes and Choccywokydoohdah as well as the beach and some of Brighton's quirky pubs. The garden centre next door was an added bonus. It is absolutely huge and had a fab fruit and veg market friday-monday and a great farmers market type shop. We bought sausages, local jams, fresh bread etc. The cafe there was also excellent and did a very nice Sunday roast. Overall, we have had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to recommend. We hope to return in the near future. Thank you to the owners for their quick response to our one minor issue and for making our stay so pleasant.

“Simply stunning ”
Reviewed 27 March 2018 for a stay in March 2018

We came here for a long weekend for our anniversary and couldn’t have picked anywhere better. I’ve never been so relaxed.

All I could hear all day was birds singing. The lodge is flawless in every way. There are five lodges and they are all sectioned off so you have complete privacy. The only person we saw was the lady who comes and sorts out the hot tub but she doesn’t interrupt you.

I will definitely be back

“5 Stars from me”

My girlfriend and I spent a long weekend here. The accommodation was amazing, we couldn’t find any fault. The hot tub was very well maintained on a daily basis. The bathroom breath taking. All round excellent standard. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get away from the hum drum of daily life and enjoy some peaceful down time.
