Super cottage, well presented, clean and kitted out with everything you could possibly need to a high standard. Carpets are all new, beds comfortable, fire in the living room warmed the room up nicely and loved the Broads pictures throughout the cottage - nice touch (as were the lovely biscuits, tea, coffee and milk waiting for me on arrival). The views from the lounge doors out onto the River Bure are stunning - who needs to watch TV when you can watch the world go by instead. We were visited by ducks, geese and a heron (that my little dog barked at every time it appeared!) - also very entertaining to watch all the boats going past and witness some particularly bad manoeuvring, including 2 day hire boats clattering into and bouncing off each other...
The owner was super helpful and provides lots of clear information in advance, nothing was too much trouble.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful cottage and would definitely stay again.
Very clean, tidy and well equipped rental. The views are beautiful and lots of things to do and places to eat close by. The owner Jeremy was very helpful and all contact and booking etc was very easy and speedy replies. Thank you for a great stay we will be back.
we have stayed at this property before and just love it hence our return, location could'nt be better, situated next to river so you get to see all the goings on,perfect for local pubs, eating out or takeaways whatever your thing.great cottage will be returning god willing.
Star Cottage was lovely. Very clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The view from the patio doors was amazing, lots of people fishing so assume very good for that. Ideal for relaxing & watching the boats go by . Good location for exploring Wroxham, Norwich etc... Thoroughly recommend
Lovely cottage. Arrived not quite knowing what to expect but what a surprise, the parking is always a problem as I drive an 8 seater van but private parking right outside what a bonus. Our party 3 adults and a dog arrived to find everything we needed. We are used to self catering, so tend to bring everything with us but Jeremy, the owner had thought of everything even down to a dog bed, 2 dog towels and a dog toy for old faithful, even though we bought her crate and bed she still made full use of this one.
We used the cooker to the full on three occasions but not the microwave.
Visited the local areas Wroxham, Gt Yarmouth, Cromer all easily accessible.
Ducks and geese came to the patio doors for food along with the local bully boy Heron.
On the whole a most enjoyable week and yes we would most definitely return.
