I booked this property to fish from the garden, which was how it was marketed, but was very disappointed to find, on arrival, a boat which took up the full width of the garden, moored there. In response to my email querying it, the owner said it was out of his control.
I was later ad vised by the boatyard that the boat was associated with the property - something the owner failed to make clear when I made the booking. I guess fishermen may not book his property if they knew about the boat. The website pictures should be updated to show the boat in its mooring so people can make an infomed decision about whether to book or not.

The cottage was lovely and clean and all you need for cooking with a family (a freezer section to the fridge or separate unit the only extra I could have liked).
The fishing from just 2 metres from the patio window was a big asset as one was disabled and could not carry equipment. A boat tried to moor right outside and we persuaded them to moor a section down (only because said cottage was empty) they said they had permission and if it had been there it would have really spoilt our holiday as ease of fishing was our priority.
As it says on the river Bure,Central to Wroxham, easy walking distance to pubs restaurants and shops,I chose this cottage as friends had stayed there before me,fantastic location great for fishing and wild life, great for walking and there is a train station if you want to nip and see other places, there is always the bus to if you don't want to take the car in to Norwich,if you like real ale, then I suggest the Shed which is on site, lots of real ale,you won't be disappointed or just sit in the cottage with the double doors open with a glass of wine like I did relaxing like we did at the boats going by.
