We were booked for 2 nights but only stayed for one night as we could not tolerate the awful mould smell of the rooms and very hard, uncomfortable beds. The pool was closed and used to store the floating pontoon. Hotel pools only seem to operate over summer in Japan. The view IS fantastic from the rooms but let down by the dated and poorly maintained room quality. Both children refused to stay another night as both had slept poorly because of the beds. With some updating of the decor, and better maintenance, this could be an outstanding hotel based on its location.

Charming & wonderful! If you want to relax and enjoy an off the beaten path resort, you really should stay here. My family met a friend here visiting from the States, and we stayed in adjacent rooms. We were both very pleased with the hotel rooms, beach, staff, and food. Everything went smoothly from meals to administrative change as I booked both rooms, but my friend settled his own room charge.

The staff was kind and gracious. It has a pleasant, relaxed peaceful and calm environment. We stayed on a Saturday night in the Spring but would like to return in the summer, even if it is more crowded. Free parking and delicious food are on offer. Our party of 3 adults, one elementary school child, and one toddler had an excellent meal of fresh local foods including two bottles of beer for just over 12,000 Yen or roughly about $100. Staff didn't rush us at all or make any issue about our toddler.

The beach was very nice, and we could go in the water. There's a dock too that you can walk out onto. The swimming pool is only open in the summer; it looked relatively large. A hot bath or sento was available, but I didn't try that. Beach time was enjoyable. The rooms have a full glass window and a small balcony that makes for a great lookout. The gift shop was all reasonably priced and you can obtain beer and other drinks there.

We left the resort refreshed and satisfied after just one night.

Stayed 1 night. Located off the main strip at Nichinan town. The rooms are large. But the outstanding feature was the full glass windows that look out to the bay. The hotel aircon was switched to heater mode in all rooms. Front desk suggested opening windows for the sea breeze which was useless as it was a warm balmy winter night. So they lent me a standing fan to help cool the room down. The small Onsen overlooked the beach. Dinner and breakfast were international fare.

Another great highlight of our trip. Walking in through the door of the room we didnt expect such a spacious room. separate toilet to the bathroom which was spacious in itself, shower was a double one and then there was a good size bath along with the usual amenities, large king size bed, sitting room that looked out over the bay. Balcony! if you want to get around you will need a hire car, which we had anyway. had one day just relaxing on the beach and swimming in the sea. the other day we drove up to the Udo shrine about 40m north (remember you can only drive 50km/hr here), definately worth a visit. Staff were friendly. we only ate once at the restaurant although staying for 3 nights, we came prepared with our own food that we bought from a supermarket in Kagoshima - sushi, sashimi, cheese, biscuits, pastrami etc. well worth a stay here if you have a few days and a car. oh and i nearly forgot to mention the lovely hot spa over looking the bay undercover. pool was open yet, not till next week - July.

Located in the seaside of the Nango district. The view from the rooms were pretty awesome however not suited for site seeing around the Nichinan City. The restaurant of this hotel was OK, but you would probably want to find an outside place to dine. Same applies for breakfast.
