This hotel is located right new to Takarazuka station and is very convenient for anyone visiting the nearby sites. It sits right next to the river and has a good view. As for the hotel, the room is actually a little bigger than the typical Japanese room though it did seem slightly old and outdated. As for the service, it was excellent and I expect no English speaker to have a problem. The onsen on site was very small and not notable so I would not book this hotel if you're looking for a nice onsen. Overall, a budget friendly hotel with a great location with excellent service.

This is a hotel away from Kyoto, Kobe or Osaka. The nearest should be Kobe just take couple stations. We chose this one to stay simply because they advertise with hot bath facilities. Grading 4 star was to the standard. Room rate were good include breakfast with a choice of 3. Very handy to the station, simply across the road. Hankyo department store and stations stores were right next to it.
Very pleasant stay but won't be back again due to location.

This looks like a western style hotel but still have Japanese Tatami room for family. It seems to me that the room were vacant for a period of time, clean though but we all sneeze for couple hours once they set up the bedding for us. I thought maybe dust mite.

Room Tip: Overall were quite pleasant

This was your very basic Western hotel. Our room (for 3 people) had 2 double beds, a desk with chair, a little table and chair, and a small closet. The bathroom was a decent size, and everything was very clean. The beds were soft. The location is not ideal for most things to do in Tokyo, it's a fairly long (maybe 1/2 hour) train ride to Umeda and Nanba stations, the Dohton-bori district, the aquarium, etc. It's close to the Osaka airport, which is why we chose it (we were picking up someone who was flying in to that airport). The train station is close, however, and it's a nice-looking part of town, so it's pleasant to walk around. I imagine a stroll by the river would be very nice.
It was a good value for the money, I'd say.
Note: the windows in the rooms open, but be careful if you choose to open them: it's a straight fall. You shouldn't need to open them, however, because the temperature is easy to control and the rooms have an air purifier.
Also, if you walk from the train station, you have to walk all the way around the building to the front, past the parking, what looks like a main entrance, and a little bar. The entrance on the side is for the Revue and Restaurant, and while you can go in that way, it's a little confusing to get to check-in without asking for directions.

Quite a good hotel conveniently situated near rail station. Clean rooms but small. bathroom small and bath is really only a shower tray unless you are very very small. Cost per night including breakfast was about £70 depending on exchange rates and whether or not you can get corporate package. As most Hotels in Japan cost a fortune, this represented good value.

Room Tip: Ask to over look river if you can if not make sure you do not face pedestrian cross otherwise you will get Beep beep all night!

This was my second stay at the Takarazuka Washington hotel. The first stay was back in 2006. The hotel is across the road from the Hankyu station. In the station complex is a department store where meal boxes could be purchased. The hotel itself is noy new but is clean and tidy with clean rooms that are serviced daily. If you are looking for a place to sleep and shower in Takarazuka, you can not go wrong. If you want plenty of room, this place is not it.
