What a lovely location with fabulous views of skye. The rooms were just perfect and the breakfasts a treat. There were six of us and we spent the evening in the lounge with a bottle of wine and a wee dram. Murdo Matheson is a great host.

Arriving at this b&b it looked like any other b&b but wow talk about room with a view stunning overlooking Skye. The owner and his son are doing an amazing job clean and all you could want the breakfast well credit to the chef. There is a sitting room to socialise with other guests and watch to if you wish, with no tv in your room it makes a pleasant change. I would recommend Tigh a Cladach to anyone and if in the area I will be contacting them to stay again.

We woke refreshed after a comfortable nights sleep each morning and watched the seals from the window as we ate breakfast. The breakfast selection and quality was second to none. This accommodation will be our first choice when we return as I am sure we will.

What a view from 2 of the sea facing bedrooms and lounge. A beautiful garden to sit in and explore and enjoy fantastic views across to Skye etc. Murdo was an excellent host who just wanted everyone to enjoy his house, food and home comforts. Large cooked breakfast, fresh fish or a continental breakfast just beautifully presented and so fresh to enjoy. A feast to start the day with! No hesitation in recommending a stay here. Good luck Murdo and family.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms facing gardens and sea!

From the stunning view from the lounge window of the isle of Sky, to the superb breakfast, this B & B was arguably the best my wife and I have ever stayed in.
Everything was perfect. The bed was comfortable. The accommodation was spotless, and everything was in perfect working order. The bathroom was immaculate.
Murdo our host was great company and very helpful. He made sure our stay was enjoyable.
Special mention must be made of the continental breakfast (breakfast was prepared by Murdo's son) so much lovely fresh fruit.
We were sad to leave. If we return to Lochalsh we will definitely try to stay here again.
