This is a very large hotel that is oriented towards family groups and weddings. We were then on a Saturday night in summer and it was exceptionally busy. I felt that we weren't particularly welcome on check-in, we had booked a traditional Japanese room and we were asked if we really wanted that room and told that we must be careful! Other staff however were very friendly, especially in the shop and at breakfast. The Japanese bath is very good, with inside and outside options and both very large. Yukatas are provided in the rooms. The Japanese style room was very large with a table and chairs in the window as well as traditional low Japanese table on the tatami. Another downside of the hotel was the smoking room, which was in the middle of the floor so close to lift well and rooms, Saturday night the smoke was almost unbearable, not so bad on the Sunday night (which was much quieter). In summary the pluses are the location (especially if you have a car), the views from rooms and large rooms and the bath. Breakfast was also good. Negatives - not so friendly staff at check-in, and cigarette smoke and smell.

The rooms are comfortably spacious for couples and even for small families. The views on either side of the hotel are simply breathtaking, and there's even a trail from the hotel to the ocean. One can enjoy a good morning hike, and a soothing bath at their onsen afterwards. I love their breakfast buffet, although I sure hope the restaurant staff can do something about their long lines at the bread section during breakfast.

The room was comfortably big for a couple, though the toilet n long bath was very small n tight fitting. The design maybe called for since there was an onsen. There were indoor n out door onsen, all skin care n hair care products were provided for use. Most users observed rules n regulations, making it clean n conducive for use before n after bedtime, relaxing after a tired day n start of another great day.
Dinner food was mostly cold, including chawanmushi, besides the rightfully cold noodles. Luckily the miso soup was a little bit warmer being served latter.
Breakfast was buffet, Japanese n international food spread.

It was our 20th anniversary and for a change, went off for a 2 nights stay. It was my first time to visit the tip of Chiba Peninsula. Great for family outing, fishings. Beach was nice but signboards of 'no swimming' is located at the beach right in front of it. besides, the beach is of black pebble stones, hence in summer, it is really hot and unsuitable for beach-side relaxing. There is great BBQ benches available but looks like it belongs to public rather than under hotel. May need approval from different authority to BBQ there. ; )
