We spent an amazing week at the Manor Barn cottage. The owner is really welcoming and helpful, the house and surroundings are completely charming, beautiful and comfortable.

Natural materials throughout, spacious and atmospheric living space, well equipped kitchen, sun terrace, organic fruit and veg garden.
The only minor improvement I could wish for would be a dishwasher, but everything else was just perfect.

Excellent location - short drive to beautiful beaches (Blackpool Sands, Slapton Sands), the spectacular Dartmoor, beautiful seaside towns of Dartmouth and Salcombe, and the delightful Totnes.

Manor Barn Cottage is relaxing, unpretentious, and simply gorgeous, we hope to be back next year.

A very beautiful, light house in a stunning setting. Close enough to Totnes for shopping, visits etc. but nice to be in a small village for the complete peace. Local pub food is very good. Lovely, cosy fire and and the field (with fire pit) and vegetable garden are a great bonus, especially for the kids.

“A wonderful place to rest and explore Devon”
Reviewed 12 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We wrote a list with our children of what we wanted from a holiday .. Manor Barn ticked virtually every box .. A beautiful house in a peaceful location away from the crowds but within easy access of the attractions of Devon... The house is incredible and so peaceful.. At the end of a busy day exploring it's the perfect place to unwind.. The owners have been incredibly helpful and the facilities are brilliant .. And they even allow you to take fresh veg from their garden .. Delicious ... One word of warning .. Do not attempt to find it without a say nav....
