These are tree hut/houses that are on the beach in Morjim. Ours had a bathroom attached but there are some that are cheaper and do not have attached bath. Ours was further back from the beach and it looked like the ones that are right on the beach are the ones without the attached bath. You have to climb a steep set of stairs to get to the house. These aren't for the faint of heart though - you are living one with nature as the walls aren't exactly closed. There is mosquito net around the bed but it does have holes so doesn't completely close out bugs. Also, we saw ants, a giant spider banana in the bathroom, and something was chewing on our soap, but not sure what! However, it was really fun to stay in a tree hut and if its not directly on the beach, its steps away from the beach. We got free drinks on arrival and breakfast is included. There weren't fitted sheets but we did receive 2 sheets. Staff was very friendly but we only met one of the brothers. There is a restaurant on the grounds but the night we tried to go, the tandoor grill was not running. From what we heard other guests say, the tandoor grill is not always on. We also found the menu somehwat limited. However, just down the road, there is this other restuarant called Naga's which has Tibetin, Chinese, and Italian food that was delicious! I highly recommend that Momo's, which are Tibetin dumplings - they will take 35 mins to make, but it's because they are making them from scratch!
Negatives: we didn't realize how far north this beach was - its about a 2 hour drive from the airport in Goa. Also, the crows were quite loud and since you are in the tree, you are right there with them. I suppose this is to be expected, but just FYI. Although there was a bathroom, we did not have hot water.
