The Fern Sylvanus Resort at Chaul, Alibaug is quite an environment friendly location away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The cottages are well spread out, spacious and well maintained even in the period of the pandemic, which is commendable.
The owner of the property Shri Sandeep Gharat takes personal interest in the comfort of the guests and ensures that the food provided is of good quality. He makes it a point to procure vegetables and labour from the surrounding villages. The staff is very cooperative and helpful.
We visited as a family group of 17 to celebrate the birthday of one of our relatives and had lots of fun.
The Fern Silvanus in Alibaug is a beautiful resort spread over a humongous area. The cottages are quaint and have all amenities. Staff is very polite and the food is simple yet delectable. Must visit.

We had a great time at this resort! The rooms are very spacious, spic and span and the Service, very personal.

The property is surrounded by lush green forestry and is a bit away from the main road so it really gives you the feeling of a getaway - if that's what you are looking for in a mini-break.
The owner runs a very tight ship and speaks in the same tone with guests as well as his team - which was very heartening to see!
I would have rated this 4 ⭐, but gave an extra ⭐ for the personal care demonstrated by the owner and his team.

we organised a get together for close friends and had a very good experience. the resort is basic but rustique and really a feeling of being in the middle of nature, with incredibly lush greenery.
we were also very impressed with the friendly staff, and with the fact that the resort owner sandeep was constantly available personally and really tried going out of his way to make sure we had a good experience.
if you planning on visiting alibaug this is a good option!
