We used Tarraleah for an overnight stay in our campervan. When we arrived there was a power outage but the manager fully explained the situation. We elected to stay anyway. The powered sites are lovely, each separated by a hedge. The estate has good options for short walks and a bar and good quality restaurant on site. Most of the accommodation is in top end cottages and the whole place is spacious and well maintained. The staff were lovely and kept us very informed about the power which came back on late in the evening. The restaurant managed to operate by candle and generator. We had a drink but didn't eat there tho the meals looked very good.
There was also a bush fire in the next valley so we had the helicopter picking up water from the lake!
We were only charged for an unpowered site.
Full marks to the manager and her team. Highly reccomendedMore
