We stayed with the family at the club after several holidays in Clubmed. Apfelwang delivers a very high quality of hotel and food, however it is a bit boring compared to Clubmed. What we liked very much is the todler swimming pool. Continuous fun for our son, never boring. Wifi in the room needs to be improved. On a rainy day you can visit Salzburg or Linz.

Excellent food, good service, smiley people, great location. Wellfit has a wide range of variety, the sport programs are never boring. Welness area is cozy and well organized. Rooms are nice and stuff friendly. 😊

We chose to stay at this club as it offers a wide range of things to do if the weather is bad (what we expected). Each day, a selection of activities are available. Usually there are 4 keep-fit type courses (body-fit, redondo, hot iron, step, indoor cycling, yoga, aqua gymnastics, and many more) and/or sport (badminton, street ball, archery, cycling tours, curling, volleyball, golf for beginners).
Outside of courses there are tennis, tabletennis, bike hire, badminton, a gym, and slack lining among others. The club includes a golf course and stables, and the area is great for Nordic walking and hiking.
The indoor pool is fairly small and has a separate jacuzzi as well as quite a lot of sunbeds. The textile-free area (no children allowed) includes saunas, a steam room and 2 jacuzzis which were, I felt, a bit too cool for comfort. The relaxing area is very nice. The outdoor pool is a bit bigger and is close to the beach volleyball court. There is a wellness area where you can get a massage, cosmetics treatment, etc. but the prices are very steep and in my opinion not worth it.
There is also an art atelier where you can have a go at painting (not only on canvass but cups, plates, t-shirts, and other things, all these cost extra). We did this one day and found it very relaxing.
There is a children's club to keep the little ones occupied during the day. And best of all – an indoor huge climbing frame type thing on about 5 levels with obstacles and slides. Not only do the kids love this, but we spent a lot of time on it, and we're well over 30 ;-)

The food was amazing, even better than many 5 star hotels which I have stayed in. At each meal there is a huge choice, and it was all delicious. Water and house wine is free with meals (also coffee at breakfast). There are only big tables so you always sit with other people. This is nice because it's a good way of finding sports partners or just other people who enjoy the same activities.

The people working there were all really friendly and nice, and immediately made us feel welcome.

The bedroom was very small, but adequate considering we spent most of our time outside of the room.

We got a really good offer and paid just over half of the usual price, which meant that it was great value for money. Even at full price, there really is enough for everyone to fill every day with new activities, get to meet a lot of new people and also find time to relax.

After the refurbishment last year the club is an almost perfect destination. The rooms now are very nice as well as the SPA area and the new "Abenteuerland" for kids. The food is typical "Robinson style" and offers something for every taste - we liked especially the creative Wellfood.

The Robs program for our son (15 years) fit also perfectly - we almost did not see him during the week - a bit sad for us but it clearly demonstrates how attractive the program was.

We enjoyed the sports and fitness program and relaxed to the max - certainly supported by a full week of sun every single day.

The staff was super-friendly and supportive - I can't imagine any areas of improvement.

I'm sure we will comeback !

We're great fans of Robinson. Normally we wouldn't have picked this one but during another Robinson holiday we'd won a cheque for two days so we extended that to four and thought 'well let's go and enjoy'.

The rooms are 'hostel like'. Clean though. But otherwise... it felt like I was being spurred back into the 70/80. Not good. The same goes for the entire look and feel of this Robinson club. Food is good as always although not the wide range of choice you'd expect from Robinson.

Hence, having said all this.... the location is magnificent and if you like to ride (horse) and play golf and if you don't mind your room that much: this is is great place. Fabulous and skilled people at the riding school! And the golf course is great. Which in the end might mean more ...

Room tip: ehhmm...not much to say. They only have two types of rooms. we had the 'luxury'...maybe we need to redefine the definition of the word ;)
