Until the wedding invitation came in the post I'd never heard of the Corick House Hotel. Its not difficult to find being well sign-posted just off the main road. The meal was excellent, indeed if anyone left hungry it was their own fault. Due to the nature of providing 100+ meals, weddings are usually set without the room for choice, so you get whats arranged, but the Turkey & ham dinner was very good. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The soup and main meal arrived hot on warm plates. From what I seen everyone seemed to be enjoying the meal. To their credit the staff circulated tables and offered more starters and meals to any guests who felt the need to 'top-up'. I really couldn't complain. The main dining room was able to accommodate the 130+ plus guests without cramming tables in too tightly. The room itself was very nice, well lit and not too much of an echo for a big room. Overall, a very pleasant wedding experience with friends and family. One thing to bear in mind of course is that my experience was as a guest at a large function, whether or not you could expect the same level of service as a couple or a family in isolation is another matter. I have unfortunately, found in the past at other hotels that non-wedding party diners tend to be shuffled into a side room and are something of an inconvenience. Always a good idea to ask if a wedding is planned when you book a meal. Hopefully, you found this review useful, if so please be good enough to click the yes button before you leave. Happy dining!
