Our original booking was for two exit-row seats on the side. About 48 hrs. before the flight, United switched planes and placed us in exit-row seats with three abreast. The computer also assigned us the window and middle seats, which seemed small and cramped for economy-plus fares. We wish that United would have informed us of the plane change so that we could have chosen different seats. We are gold premier members and million-milers -- United should understand that loyalty is a two-way street.

Both hops coming and going were on time and uneventful. Connected in Denver both ways. Flight attendants did a thorough job tending to passengers. Hop from Denver to Hawaii and back had seatback entertainment for purchase. Will fly this airline again next trip to the islands. One bit of advice for anyone flying out of Toronto Pearson to the states. Be advised that you will clear American customs while still in Canada. US customs have a full contingent of officers and inspection teams there so add an hour or so for check through. My wife and I literally boarded our plane ten minutes before they closed the door.

Buisness class was so much better than economy , the service was pretty good. Although I think the workers could use a few authentic smiles and not catch a smirk when consumers ask for something. Food not so good, drinks are fine . Took the buisness class mostly for the leg room and comfort

My flight was very smooth with almost no turbulence. The business class seats felt a little tight. the staff was very friendly.

The flight was on time which is a huge surprise out of Newark. It was a no frills flight. Nothing special but efficient. They give you the bare minimum in all aspects. Flight was smooth.
