SAS not only has awful customer service, but we experienced what we felt was racism and prejudice for not being a "white" person. Sitting in Economy Plus , we were totally passed over for drinks, may have been an oversight but no apology after my husband had to walk down the aisle to tell them about this. In addition, they did not have our vegeterian meals as we had requested. Again NO APOLOGY but "we have no meals, you are not registered, we can't do anything about it"!We asked to sse if they could arrange something from business class, we were denied that. Then we asked to speak to ta the person in charge of this, no one came for atleast 2 hrs. In the meantime we were given a microwaved soup with dehydrated veggies and some pasta.

The main attemdant apologized but made no effort to arrange for any other meal and when we shared that the original attendant had not apologized, we were told we were "lying"!!!

Will never fly SAS again and shared that with these attendants,; their answer, "Go ahead, fly with someone else"!!

Afer spending 2 grand and being treated like this...we will!!

Don't book anything with SAS, they sell you ticket at higher price to make you able change your flight, but when you want to change your flight they ask you a fee, and guess how much is fee ? higher than the actual ticket price, broken website, low customer service, non-responsive, horrible people, never book with them anything

I’ve flown this airline a lot with my mum, dad, and younger brother.

Not had a genuine issue with it since but today was different, we were due to leave Helsinki to go back to Bergen through a connecting flight from Copenhagen.

The plane got a 30 minute delay, had no problem with that, but there is where the problem was.

Tuned out that the flight had indeed not been delayed and that they started boarding the plane before the original departure time.

Because of that we obviously thought the flight would’ve left at 15:55PM but it had started boarding at 15:30PM.

And eventually we realised that and rushed to the gate we got there at 15:35 and they had closed it and my issue was that the plane was still at the gate with the walk bridge still visibly connected, and they would not let us board, which was understandable but at no point did they ever think of doing a PÅ public announcement to tell us to get to the gate which is my problem.

We ended up having to hustle and go through TSA and recheck our luggage because of that issue, we had to rebook with the airline Norwegian instead.

I do get this issue was our fault and we should’ve been more responsible with time management but the fact they made 7 passengers miss their flight and the crew on that flight and the ground crew didn’t even bother to take action to make sure we got our flight is kind of messed up.

My previous post was rejected for too much information but here is a summary:

In March, 2024, SAS left our group stranded for five hours at Newark for...a flat tire. SAS said we are due compensation for their delay. Six months later, after numerous emails, calls, and forms, they will not talk to us. Judging by other reviews, this is their usual SOP. My invalid, elderly mother, in her wheelchair, had to scramble to catch our next flight - by moments - instead of having a leisurely time in Copenhagen. Six months later still nothing. Fly anyone else or take the train from Germany because they will scam you.

Two part coach class from Heathrow to Helsinki via Stockholm.
Basic ticket without cabin baggage with absolutely no frills We did manage to get on board quickly and we were only a little late taking off.
USB charging in seat was a useful bonus.
