I booked on QA to travel to the North of Spain via Madrid. The Doha-Madrid is a long-haul flight. Our airplane was the Dreamliner B 787 – 9, Q suite cabin with sliding door. The suite was very private and secluded. Staff at check in counter were efficient and friendly. The process was smooth. I had a Tasting menu of 6 items in mini portions for a night flight meal. The experience this time was perfect.

We really enjoyed all 4 legs of our Journey to Denpasar via Doha and return. This time in Business class . We travelled out on the 31st may returning 15th June. Two flights were Qsuite the other two were not but still excellent. Would say that the Qsuite can't be beaten by any airlines. We had great crew looking after us on all flights however my wife sat in 4f on the Denpasar to Doha leg had one incredibly miserable girl looking after that side of the aircraft but all others were fantastic so am not deducting a star as it seems very unfair to do so but would recommend that girl gets a refresher in being helpful and polite! The food 2as really enjoyable as was wine champagne etc, Pyjamas to sleep in were great, plenty of decent entertainment films etc, And the seats were really comfortable and we were able to sleep very well. We have flown Business class with other airlines and Economy, we were in Economy with Qatar in November and December wh8ch was very good too. Would definitely recommend Qatar airways. Don't really understand all the negative comments we have only had positive experiences.

We booked the Maldives via Voyage Prive which included flights with Qatar. 6 Hour Flight from London to Doha, 5 Hours from Doha to Male.

When we checked in we were offered a Business Class upgrade for the second leg for £500 for both of us which we took. Economy Flight to Doha was pretty straight forward. Comfortable seats, food wasnt too bad. However, we did have trouble getting info about our connecting flight. We have a 2 Hour lay over at Doha but we were an hour late taking off so we were a bit concerned. None of the crew seemed to know anything but another passenger advised us that they hold they plane as its the same airline.

We got the connection and made the plane. We had been up since 7am and it was now 11pm so a long day. According to the Website, Business Class get Pyjama's and a Wash Bag included. When my wife asked about this on the flight, apparently, due to COVID this is no longer included. However, it is still advertised on their Website a month later. However, the Food was amazing, and the Crew really attentive. The whole PJ's and WashBag took the gloss off it a bit.

We landed at Male and went to get our cases. Waited for about an Hour and mine had arrived but my Wife's hadnt. We then went to Lost Luggage, they looked on their list and they told us that my wife's case hadn't been loaded at Doha. So we spent at hour waiting for the luggage only to be told they already knew it wouldn't be there when landed. We were then told that it would be at our hotel by 4pm (This was 9am Mali time). Checked in at the Hotel and our Host said he would look into it. He messaged us at 4pm saying the luggage still havent arrived from Doha and would be there tomorrow at 3pm. Thankfully, Luggage arrived the next day.

We contacted Qatar via email and their response was pretty crap in all honesty. Sorry for the confusion with the case, we will look into it blah blah blah. We no longer supply Wash Kits or PJ's due to COVID (Though when you book Business Class it says they do).

We had an amazing two weeks in the Maldives, as in holiday of a lifetime. I thought I would surprise my Wife with the Business class upgrade to Doha again. We were a bit disappointed with the PJ's and Wash kit but we didn't fly till 9pm so we could at least try and get some sleep in a nice quiet environment. The offer to Upgrade....£1600 for a 5 Hour flight!!! Suffice to say I declined. We were going to see if they had Business Class for Doha to London but that was a 6 Hour flight so Id hate to imagine the cost.

We stuck with economy and boarded at Mali. We walked through Business Class and there were 5 people in the whole of Business. At least 20 Seats not in use. Why try and charge such a ridiculous amount when you could have made money offering at a discounted cost? Madness.

My other gripe was the in-flight entertainment. SO MANY BL00DY ADVERTS. May as well have been watching ITV!

Overal, Qatar was Meh! I LOVE flying and was REALLY looking forward to flying with Qatar but overall, left feeling really really underwhelmed. Would I fly with them again? Maybe / Maybe not. Id rater see who else is available and use Qatar as a last resort.

Note: We have been back about 3 Weeks from the Maldives and Ive just checked the Qatar Website. They are still advertising PJ's and Washbags for ALL Business Class flights.

I had a very horrible experience with this airline, on my flight I left my reading glasses on the plane, however after many attempts when emailing them, making multiple phone calls for days and reporting a lost property I am yet to receive a response . I cannot read of see properly without my prescription glasses which were very costly, this shows how poor their customer service is and their lack of care.

This is our 2nd flight on the way to Norway. This is from Doha to Oslo by B787-8.

Due to unprofessional and novice (the fat and tall lady with an eyeglass in charge of one of check in counters in T1, Changi Airport, Singapore for QR945 to Doha on 7th May 2022 Sat; the staff sent the checked-in bag to the belt without attaching tag), QR staff I had to travel to Oslo from Doha without check in luggage (as it did not come to Doha from Singapore).

The QR customer service desk staff (a lady on duty around 6.30 AM opposite the B1 gate in Doha airport) informed me that they found the bag and would be sending it the next day to my final destination in Norway.

However, eventually, I found that the QR customer service staff in Doha airport provided me incorrect information (knowingly/ unknowingly) after inquiry to the baggage handling team. Ultimately I had to come to pick up the baggage from the airport in Norway (despite their promise of home delivery) after 10 days of arrival in Norway.

Their customer service emails have no response. Yes, not a single response I have received so far. So almost two months of travel, no compensation, no reimbursement of purchased items...nothing!! QR is totally silent. Whenever I ask for an update on the claim, the chat service becomes silent 100% time.

I am really not sure if this is the reason why QR started getting no #1 ranking by Skytrax in recent years. It seems Qatar airways only consider 1st and business class as the passengers. It's apparently clear that no#1 ranking is not due to service and behaviour to economy class passengers and efficiency of ground staff.

About the flight, the cabin is not as good as A350-9 to Doha (from Singapore). The leg space was just okay, the display monitor quality was average.

They provided cold snacks and ordinary food.

The only good thing is they allowed priority boarding because of traveling with a kid. And surprisingly there was no security check-in in Doha despite the change in flight.

But overall, I will think 100 times before flying again with Qatar airways.
