I arrive early with goldcard and biz ticket.
1. Ask for move to earlier flight - no way!
2. Ask for checkin - no way!
3. Ask for lounge - no way!
I was speachless. Stunned at this lack of service.
Just as good as the plane staff are - just as bad can the goundstaff be.
Incredible!

My wife and I booked a business class return trip from Birmingham in the UK to Nairobi in Kenya. The flight was for a safari holidy in the Masai Mara. The flight was delayed from Nairobi to Doha which meant that we missed our connection resulting in a delay of over 12 hours. When we complained to Qatar customer services and asked for compensation they refused. When we pointed out the EU rules require a compensation fee of €800 per person for flight delays over 12 hours their reply was: 'We are not based in Europe, so those rukles don't apply to us.' Despite numerous calls and letters to date they still haven't offered any cash refund and have only very grudgingly offered a small amount of Qatar points which can be used on future flights. The points total equate to approximately 10% of the cost of flying anywhere with Qatar from Birmingham.

All in all a VERY dispointing experience. We will not be flying Qatar again and we are frankly shocked at the way that customer services have treated such valuable customers. (We have flown both ourselves and our two daughters multiple times from Birmingham Business Class to Long Haul destinations like Australia spending many tens of thousands of pounds with the company).

The airplane was enormous and very comfortable and the service was great as always, they are hardly late and serve the customers with a great enthusiasm. I traveled with them on different routes, I can say the plane depends on the route or destination, I have been on a very old plane but they maintained the level of great service.

Very happy with Qatar Airways! We've been flying lots of times with them already and never been disappointed. Happy and friendly stuff, professional services and super caring customer service. Totally recommended!

Read my review of British airways after reading this review and you will see how much better Qatar airways are and they could teach their One Alliance partner British airways so much about great customer service and a good flying experience (BA)

Bag drop of was under 2 Minutes about 90% faster than BA.

Seating was more comfortable than BA

Food was better

Cabin crew had a great attitude and really interacted with you and on board service was better.

Plane was newer.

Less routes than Ba to places we travel to was the only area where BA is better.
