Well I’m reviewing Norwegian Airlines but on both flights to and from JFK they substituted their plane for a Portuguese Hi Fly Transportes. Delays both ways and complete lack of communication. Were trying to get people to change their flights as the replacement plane was smaller than the planned Norwegian airline one and was therefore overbooked. On the way out no water on the plane, probably because the bottled water was being used to flush the ONE functioning toilet. No air con, no entertainment and uninterested cabin crew - who came out twice on an 8 hour flight! Now facing a 3 hour delay to return home on the same replacement airline. What a crock of sh@t. I’d normally say with budget you get what you pay for so suck it up, but too few seats and no water or restrooms -think those things should be included in the cost !!

We paid extra for "premium" and the seats were good and wide for a trans-Atlantic flight. We were entitled to use the premium lounge in Barcelona which was excellent. The flight was good with very good entertainment, but the food was very poor. Seats in premium are large and recline, but no-where near flat to try to sleep. The extremely helpful and friendly steward said "you must realise this isn't first class!" Norwegian have bought new "Dreamliner" aircraft for this route, and we disliked this much lauded plane. We both had sore throats and coughs by the end of the flight. We hated Fort Lauderdale airport - old-fashioned and chaotic and overcrowded - and the worst handicapped support we've ever encountered - and no premium lounge.

It was my first experience flying with this airline and hopefully not the last one. The prices were much better than other airlines , cheaper even than those claiming themselves to be “low cost airlines”. Enough space inside, me and my partner were sitting together without paying anything for that ( like in other airlines), no problem with luggage . Service polite and helpful. 4 hrs passed by perfectly. Just pleasure

While going out of Norway to European countries, we generally take Norwegian because it is convenient and little bit cheaper than the other airlines. Though there are no in-flight services of meals in these kind of airlines, you can buy few variety of food and beverages in the flight and the best part is you can use your credit card to pay the bills. Since it gives just 20 kgs and no extra baggage, it is usually convenient to those who are going for a short vacation with few things with them.

We booked this flight because it offered us free cancellations, checked bags and extra leg room. (Leg room because one of us has an artificial knee and is far more comfortable with extra leg room.) We had planned to fly Delta, but to get those conditions met, it was far too much money. So, we tried Norwegian Air, first class. (And, we never fly first class.) But, it offered us those conditions. It was great. Everything went flawlessly. We slept, had good food and arrived less jet lagged than normal.
