“New route KLM Malaga - Amsterdam ”
Review of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines

Reviewed 19 August 2017 via mobile

Klm has open a new route between Amsterdam and Malaga. Toke this flight as it was scheduled during the day. Perfect service from check in to disembarking. Will fly again.

Check in at DUS for some reason had long lines for a single flight going out due to lack of personnel at the check in counter. Flight itself was fine. Baggage missed the transfer, which happens. When the baggage was delivered to the hotel, the case had considerable damage to the point the wheels were INOP. The trouble is after-the-fact customer service. Their weblinks don't work, and makes it impossible to claim damages.
When attempting to get a damage report written, was informed to do it back in the USA, where DELTA handles KLM complaints. Problem is DELTA agents refused to fill out a report stating, it should have been done in Amsterdam, or at the final carrier before entering the US. The three final leg carriers caused no additional damages.
We are still trying to get some compensation, so far without any success.
May sound petty, but because of misinformation provided, and the rudeness of DELTA customer service, decided to persue it further than normal logic dictates.

We booked tickets months in advance and had an uneventful (the best kind) flight outboard from JFK. At kiosk check-in at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam, we immediately realized we had a big problem. My spouse and I were assigned seats 30 rows apart (she in Economy Comfort, myself in Economy). Despite (1) alerting KLM gate agents 2 1/2 hours before the flight and (2) speaking with flight attendants the moment we got onboard, we heard nothing further from the crew! With all the drink carts and attendants handing out hot towels, etc. we were able to see each other just once in an nearly 8 hour flight. Fortunately, we could send messages to one another via CHAT. A couple days later, we received a "regrets" form letter via email from KLM reminding us to check our seat assignments before our next time flying Delta/KLM.

I went over to Spain on Avianca and had to return early, almost the same cost to change with Avianca then for a one way B/C ticket, service was good on Avianca but the food and IFE was terrible.. Service, food and IFE was awesome on KLM plus they fly right into Cartagena with a stop get off the plane and get back on in bogota..

Going on KLM from now on!!!!

Upon calling KLM, they informed me that online I was informed that the KLM flight was operated by Delta?? I didn't see that and its not on any of my printed booking documents, as it must have been in fine fine print? This is BS, we fly USA airlines all year and are sick of them, thus we always book EU flights, and upon printed my boarding we fine out its Delta. They should declare this in big print so as to not deceive customers and consumers. Is everybody okay with this?
