“Business class beds on the 787 are good.”
Review of Kenya Airways

Reviewed 4 weeks ago

New business class seats on the 787 are very comfortable for sleeping and a significant improvement on the previous offering. Good Breakfast. Take off too late at night to bother with the dinner. Crew very pleasant and attentive. Flying them again to Luanda in 2 days time.

At $249 for the 75 minute flight leaving Nairobi at 23.59 using this service is not cheap. However the experience is on a par with full service European airlines with comfy seats, in flight snacks and a complimentary bar ( I would have preferred the shut eye). Friendly crew and ground staff.

I had two options to choose between Kenya Airways and Rwandair. I decided to give another and probably the last try to KQ. Fortunately, I noted slightly improvement on punctuality, on board meal/entertainment. However they are selling duty free products at the sky rocketing price compared to Airport Duty Free shops ( ref. Big 5 Shop at OR Tambo Intl Airport).
**KQ New CEO should change this "Pride of Africa" airline.

This was a short (1hr 20 min) flight. I was hoping the see the Mount Kilimanjaro but it was cloudy all the way. The plan was clean and well maintained. The service was good and the food was also good.
The flight was also very good

I have recently travelled up from JNB to JRO having had a 9hr lay over in Nairobi.

The first flight out was half full and I got to sleep across 3 seats which was a bonus however the only issue with the flight was, as I was near the back of the plane was that I didn't get a choice of meal and ended up with beef not my first choice, so a little disappointing.

Generally the flight was good with no real issues and I would recommend using them internally.
