Horrible Customer Service by Indigo Airlines Staff at Kolkata Airport
I recently had a terrible experience at Kolkata Airport with Indigo Airlines, thanks to staff member Sonia and manager Neha. Their unprofessionalism and complete lack of basic customer service skills left me utterly frustrated.
Sonia was not only rude but dismissive when I approached her for assistance. She showed zero interest in resolving my concern and acted as if she was doing me a favor by even listening. Her behavior was shocking for someone in a customer-facing role.
Worst service at Indigo Arirlines.
When I requested to speak with a manager, I was directed to Neha, hoping for a resolution. Unfortunately, it was an even bigger disappointment. Neha was unhelpful, condescending, and seemed more interested in shutting the conversation down than addressing the issue. Her attitude reflected a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.
This kind of treatment is unacceptable and reflects poorly on Indigo Airlines. As a frequent flyer, I expect basic professionalism and courtesy, especially in situations where a passenger is facing an issue. Unfortunately, Sonia and Neha failed on all fronts, making this one of the worst airline experiences I’ve had.
Indigo seriously needs to train its staff on handling customers with respect and efficiency. Until then, I will think twice before choosing this airline and wouldn’t recommend it to others based on this experience.

Had the most awful experience with IndiGo Airlines. Booked emergency flights from Melbourne - Singapore and Singapore - Mumbai to visit a sick family member and received a confirmation text with email booking reference + itinerary.
The Melbourne-Singapore part of the journey was code-share in a Qantas aircraft and Singapore-Mumbai was with IndiGo. IndiGo approved the booking, took the money out of my account, texted me a confirmation and emailed me an itinerary with booking reference. I phoned them twice before my flight to confirm everything was booked and the luggage would go directly from Melbourne to Mumbai. They confirmed both times.
On the day of the flight, Qantas said that Indigo had not confirmed the booking with them for Melbourne - Singapore and they received no information regarding our booking. IndiGo sold me code share flights on a Qantas aircraft that did not exist, even though they sent me a booking number.
I could not get on the flight and was on the phone to IndiGo for hours to rebook it for another day.
The trip is to visit a sick family member and has now been delayed for 3 days.
They did not offer any compensation for the inconvenience and could not offer any further guarantee that this would not happen again. A full refund would take 7 days for them to process and more time for the money to reach my account.
I am so disgusted and disappointed at their service and don't understand how they have sold code share seats that don't exist.
After this flight, I will never fly with them again and would implore everyone else to avoid this airline as well.

The air hostesses came to know of our upcoming 50th wedding anniversary and they brought a goodies box of chips, snacks and chocolate for us. It was such a nice gesture and they all came and wished us as well as give us a congratulations card. It was so sweet.

i travelled from trv to Mumbai on dec 2 and when i opened my checked in bag they had taken couple of stuff my hair color , pants and meddled around with my make up and opened a bottle of sealed bottled of oil and didnt close tightly .
