We usually are very fond of BA but charging for a cup of tea. Are they trying to copy Ryanair
Even the cheap US airlines give out water, soft drinks tea and coffee..

Arrived at the gate and boarded quickly. Staff were attentive with the seating and making you feel comfortable. The amenities included sleeping pajamas which made it much more comfortable in the fully reclining seat. the food was very good although NOT excellent. The entertainment system was excellent for the Boeing 747. Left on time and arrived on time. The cleanliness in the lavoratories was not up to standard.

Flew out of Linate airport and first/business class service was somewhat less than expected. To get to the plane everyone was transported by bus to a plane parked on the tarmac. There was no bus for business class but not much of a worry. The plane left late [it was a 7:00 am flight out of Milan]. The service was good but the breakfast was only fair. Arrived slightly behind schedule at London Heathrow terminal 5.

Service and quality of food on the BA flights in Premium Economy is very poor. Food is awful. We had a much better meal on Qantus in economy and much better service. My partner is gold for life and as such should at least be welcomed on board personally. We've flown with BA on 8 flights recently and the only crew who acknowledged his status was the Qantus co shared flight to NZ . We were very impressed. We fly a great deal and have noticeably seen a decline in service and attitude of crew to frequent flyers.
