Never again.
Flight from Baku to Dubai was more than 7 hours delayed. In airport AZAL staff told us to buy a new ticket for flyDubai, leaving earlier. The AZAL STAFF PROMISED us we would be refunded for the original ticket AND the flydubai ticket for compensation. Now a month later, there’s still no refund, and contacting AZAL they REFUSE to make a refund for any ticket even though it was THEIR STAFF promising us refund and asking us to buy the ticket.
They say we “made a purchase and decision on our own” we did as we were told by AZAL staff, not only us, but everyone on the scheduled flight. Staff even took pictures of our passports and confirmations and handed out new boarding passes in the lounge we were told to wait at.
