I shared my experience with AA customer service in the form of a complaint and was given a scripted response that didn't address my complaint at all and was less than empathetic or helpful. The bottom line is that I am a disabled passenger and unfortunately got sick on the last leg of my flight from DFW to TRI after take off and shortly before landing. I was told to hold on to my vomit bag for the entire flight after being told the garbage was full.... roughly 15 mins after takeoff. It's hard enough to deal with being sick and apologetic to the people around you but then to have to HOLD IT ALL FLIGHT LONG is just wrong.

If I could give negative stars I would. I had a flight booked to attend a funeral with an early departure for a reason. I was notified vie text that the flight was cancelled late the evening prior to departure. The flight AA rebooked me on had an arrival time over 24 hours after my original flight which causes me to miss the funeral for my brother. I called customer service and sat on hold for an hour and never talked to a person.

I will NEVER fly with this airline again. They are unprofessional, clearly do not care about their customers, unorganized. In what world is this conduct okay. The way they operate should be illegal. Absolutely despicable company!

I will NEVER, NEVER fly American Airlines ever again. Booked flight back in August for trip this weekend for a wedding in Huntsville, AL. Got text at 10pm tonight that first leg of our 5am flight (Houston to Dallas) was cancelled. Airline makes rebooking sound so easy but NO other flights for Thursday were listed on webpage. Flying in Friday is not an option due to timing of wedding events. Been on hold now 1 HOUR AND 50MINS JUST WAITING FOR AN ACTUAL HUMAN TO ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE AND PROVIDE ME WITH INFORMATION RE: WHAT MY OPTIONS ARE….

Horrible ordeal. I'll never book with them again. My dad is stuck in Dallas at 80 years old. They keep shifting and cancelled flights. No hotel offered and no flights for 2 days. They are at the caliber of spirit.

I was trapped by Delta, who I was loyal too, for almost a week in DC, Dulles. They gave us coupons to call a number with a 5 hour hold time. But my wallet was stolen in DC, making hotel stays very difficult. I finally got to Atlanta heading to Florida, and was trapped for 2 more days. Desperately I looked for a Delta employee to help, with no luck, but found an American desk clerk and begged for help. She was kind and got me home immediately, after over a week of Delta jerking me around. I am now loyal to AA. I’m not worried about luxury in domestic flights, I want customer service and AA gave me the best customer service from any airline I’ve ever felt. I understand experiences are situational, but based on my experience with AA, I am loyal until they prove me wrong. Great job AA!
