After my last experience on AA in Nov 2022 I am emitting them from airline possibilities for work. I flew AA from DFW to Boi and an engine went out so we had to land in SLC. Would been 8 - 9 hr wait for new plane and they would not even reimburse for rental car. Luckily Company picked it up to make the 5 hr drive. I wrote AA and they gave me a $50 cred towards future flight on AA. I told them was a joke and go jump in grand canyon and they upped it to a whole $100 credit. Still pitiful. Pathetic CS and questionable aircraft maintenance! They should give me $500 cash at least. Done with AA.
We flew to Chicago on July 29, 2022, returning on August 1, 2022. Everything about this flight was flawless. Checking in was a breeze. Boarding was quick and efficient. Service and the food were top notch. Seats were comfortable and the flight itself was smooth. The flight back (AA 2840) was just as good. We continue to get excellent service on American Airlines
Sat on over heated plane with no water or AC for an hour. Arrived in Miami. All stood up to get luggage when sign off. Then told plane was parked incorrectly at gate. All needed to take seats while pilot attempted to correct. Baggage 1 1/2 hours wait. Told “We’re having a problem “. Horrible, disrespectful service!!!
This is the second time in one month an internal error on your part forced me to alter my return flight. My flight was cancelled 2 weeks ago and i got no kind of reimbursement or even an apology. I checked in to this flight the night before and when my gate was changed everything was deleted and my links expired forcing me to go back to the counter at which point i was told i could not check in. I an now forced to downgrade from first class with again no sort of refund. Between the price of the tickets ive spent here this past year alone i feel this service is subpar and makes me question flying American Airlines at all, let alone remaining an AA member. And the fact i have to go to a website and type out a review because there is nobody available to address this in person or over the phone only reinforces that point.
