“Now That is Old”
Review of Air Canada

Reviewed 22 November 2017

The plane we flew on was so old that there were still ashtrays on board, not that anyone used them. The staff was cordial enough so that was nice.

This was our first experience with Air Canada Rouge and it wont be the last one. The quality of service provided on both flights was simply outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend it to potential clients.

This three hour flight from Toronto to Denver was much better than first class on United. The seats were similar but service/food far better. We were very satisfied with this flight.

First time we have flown on Air Canada's business class on a long trip. From Santiago, Chile to Toronto was about 9 1/2 hours. We found the seats to be very comfortable and service very good. The food was mediocre though and they should improve it. Overall it is better than United on such long hauls.

Where to start - we were to leave at 3:00 pm and be home in Edmonton at little after midnight. But that was way to much to expect to happen - that was our ticket, but that is not the real story.

We were told the hour before we left for the airport that we were delayed at least 4 hours. Well that ment that nine of us were not making our flight out west that night.

We got to the airport and while they were aware of the delay they could tell us nothing of the issue, when to expect the plane, what the plans were for moving us past our first stop over. They provided meal voucher that covered about 1/3 of the bill and then we sat.

When we got to Toronto the confusion continued, we were told one thing that did not make sense and that we were re-booked on early morning flight with seats - but non of us got updates from Air Canada apps or emails confirming.

Sure enough in the morning ( 6:30 am ) half of us had tickets and the other half had paper that was not a ticket but crap. We had a 8:40 flight - we hoped - and stood in line for about 3/4 of an hour. Now the agent we got knew his business and took the time to explain what happened the night before and got us seated together on the same plane

Thanks to the agents in Antigua for trying so hard and thanks to the agent in Toronto for making it work - finally.
