My 3 stars are an average between 2 stars for the first flight and 4 stars for the return one. It's a budget airline, you may get lucky and everything could go smoothly (return flight), or you may not be that lucky. The first flight had a delay of more than one hour, which messed up some peoples transfers. Also the funniest thing happened (or not), they started service late and 1/4 of the rear end passengers didn't get served. On the plus size, there was free service included in the ticket (soft drinks and sandwich), which I found quite nice, as most of the low cost lines don't offer that.

On 20-06-2017 I flew to Athens and booked a ferry-boat to Paros. I flew Aegean as this flight was locally for me, from Birmingham and return.

If you ever want to go to one of the outer islands from Athens I would strongly recommend that you catch an onward flight from Athens as my experiences by sea were hectic. When you land at Athens the guide says to catch a taxi to the where the boat port is. I think the guide I saw said the fare was 30 Euros. The taxi drivers quoted me 50 to 100 euros ! I spotted a double-decker bus and the driver said it was 3 euros, so I took the bus, and was there in plenty of time.If you have plenty of time the boats are a nice way to travel.However, for my return from Paros to Athens airport, the boat leaving Paros was ONE HOUR AND 40 MINUTES LATE !!!! It was a real scramble getting back to the airport in time and my sincere thanks go out to the taxi driver who broke all records to get us there in time, Lewis Hamilton could not have got us there any quicker !!!. We are off to Paros again in a few weeks time with Aegean Air and have booked return flights out to Paros !! Hope this helps as there are many,many beautiful Cyclades Islands.

Once again Aegean was excellent. On time, clean aircraft, polite people, delicious snack... I will fly again with Aegean!

The check -in was reasonably quick and with pleasant staff at the counter. The seats were a bit cramped: I requested vegitarian food, but this was disappointing; reasonably quick dis-embarkation. In general, a good flight

Yes it was an one time departure, but the legroom was the worst I have experienced to date. There was approximately one-inch between my knees and the seat in front of me. Fortunately, the flight was only two hours
