Symphony is a beautiful ship. Royal Caribbean staff is always attentive and friendly. El Loco Fresh was new for us and we enjoyed it very much. The only specialty restaurant I did was HOOKED. As an Islander, I wasn't that impressed, but the service was fantastic. No complaints in the MDR. Sheila, the maitre d', was so accommodating even with a ton of hungry eyes on her. The only complaint I had was that the curfew is too late. Teens should be accompanied by their parents after 11 p.m. Ages 12 (sometimes younger) to 17 should not be roaming the ship alone, or RCI should have more security. There was an incident on the elevator that made me very uncomfortable that would have been avoided if the teens' parents were with them. All in all, Royal is still my favorite, and Symphony was gorgeous. The entertainment and shows were some of the best! 1977 & Flight to Dream are must-dos. Do not miss them. Myra, Qiao, Sam, and Daisy were fun activity coordinators. They made our cruise memorable with trivia, Name That Tune, and nightly karaoke. Thank you for the memories. I cannot wait to sail again.

I went on Symphony of the Seas during Spring Break and it was the most wonderful experience of my life! My family and I stayed in the suite class and went on an eight-day voyage. The staff on the ship were very welcoming and positive. Also, the food on this ship was superb. The activities on the ship were very enjoyable and the specialty restaurants are amazing. Wonderland is the best specialty restaurant on the cruise, especially for children. I would totally recommend this cruise for families and couples!

Dear Royal Caribbean, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the process of setting up a room block for a milestone birthday cruise celebrating several members of my family. I have called your group reservations number multiple times and have been put on hold and disconnected twice (reps David & Moses) . The third time I called, I was asked to leave a callback number, which I did. The representative, Vivian, called me back and I explained that I had to start the process over for the third time, which was frustrating. She asked for a callback number and repeated it back to me correctly. We were able to add all of the reservations to the block, but Vivian expressed concern that we might get cut off and said she would hang up and call me back in a minute. Unfortunately, she never called back and when I called again, the office was closed. This level of customer service is unacceptable and does not meet our expectations. We are considering requesting a full refund. Is this the way you treat customers who are about to pay over $35k? This is our third cruise with your company, and we have never experienced such unsatisfactory behavior. I will contact a manager on Monday to discuss this matter further. We expect appropriate compensation for the inconvenience caused. Additionally, I would like to address the misinformation provided to my family and me in an attempt to pressure us into booking earlier. Each time we called, we received different and inconsistent information from different representatives. This has caused significant annoyance and frustration. This matter requires your staff's immediate attention. Please implement appropriate measures to guarantee that no one else experiences such subpar service in the future. Signed: Very perturbed, David Strickland

After more than 20 years since my last cruise, I was initially hesitant about being away for 8 days, but the time flew by. Each day, I walked the ship's track and participated in yoga and abs classes at the onboard spa and fitness center, which were truly top-notch. The classes were fantastic, too. I enjoyed a massage at the spa as well. For the first couple of days, I ate most of my meals on the 16th floor, but it quickly became crowded. Later in the cruise, I discovered a private dining area for breakfast on the third floor, which became my go-to spot for the rest of the trip. The shows on board were of superb quality. One of the highlights was a comedian named Drew, who also performs in Las Vegas. His set was really funny, and even though it was an adult show, it was surprisingly clean, which I appreciated. I decided not to purchase the Wi-Fi package, partly because I thought it was overpriced and also because I wanted to use this time to disconnect from electronics and truly unwind. We only booked one excursion—a tour of the highlights of the Bahamas—which lasted about two and a half hours and was just right for me. On Coco Cay, we enjoyed the beach and shopped at the local markets on the private island. One of the things I enjoyed most was sitting with new people every day, meeting others, and engaging in different conversations. I considered playing bingo, but at $50 per board per game, I decided to skip it. The poolside reggae band was one of my favorite parts of the cruise—I could have listened to their music all day and night. The talent on board was truly impressive. Our room size was fine for the two of us with separate beds. Interestingly, other guests we knew had a two-bedroom cabin but found it much smaller than ours, which was puzzling. Overall, it was a great experience with wonderful memories, and I would definitely consider going on another cruise.
