In this day and age when many flights do not run according to time, it is a pleasure to come across and airline that tries to run according to time. The staff were efficient and all in all we had a good trip

Missed our flight on the 27th Sept, but was easily accommodated on the next available flight. Although the additional costs was a bitter pill, we were grateful.

Started with being bumped off a flight. All flights were overbooked on a long weekend!!! The airline alleges lateness. Watched as staff were screamed at by supervisors. Then having to pay R300 to be given privilege of being considered for next available flight. Not happy.
Did finally go on my weekend away. Lodged a polite complaint in May, Given the run around, shunted from one customer service officer to another, told many excuses for inaction and then they were unable to prove truth or otherwise of my complaint as it had taken so long for them to act. They in the mean time had erased all the airport video. footage.. So no evidence but still outcome goes against the customer. Outcome in September - refund promised for baggage fee but not for standby fee!!! Now October and still waiting....... for refund! 5 months!!!
NEVER Never fly safair.

Only half of the passengers on board could buy sandwiches, because they ran out. This was quite a late flight and only one restaurant was open when we landed in Jhb, starved. Fortunately it was a great restaurant.

On 21/09/2018 I missed my flight due to circumstances by Safair.
I was treated so disgustingly by their staff who were rude and incompetent.
Safair did nothing to try and rectify the missed flight and/or compensate me for this missed flight.
Their ground staff blamed me for the mess up and their call centre staff were not helpful at all!!
If you ever travel to South Africa 'DO NOT FLY THIS AIRLINE!!!!!'
There are many options available...
