Pharmacy contact info

My new insurance doesn't cover my medicated shampoo and topical spray for my psoriasis.

As I'm about 6 hours driving distance to Nuevo Progresso, does anyone have a phone number or email address for any pharmacies in NP before driving down there for these meds.

I'm including in case someone might have bought these before and can share the prices.

1. Clobetasol 0.05% shampoo

2. Ketoconazole 2% shampoo

3. Topicort 0.25% topical spray

4. Calcipotriene 0.005% topical ointment

5. Adapalene 0.3% topical gel

6. Fluocinonide 0.05% topical solution

I read that Jessica is a good pharmacy and any other recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks for your help in advance.

I always recommend using Benavides as they are a national chain and much less likely to have "knock-off" medications. You can find contacts for pharmacies in Nuevo Progreso by searching "pharmacies nuevo progreso." There is contact information online. Since Internet is used as frequently in Mexico as the US, I would consider it significant that "Jessica's" has no listing. I know nothing about them.

Park on the US side and walk across. Make sure you have your passport. I am not sure about the "friendliness" of ICE in that area to people without passports.

Thanks Bob for your input. I'll look up Benavides online and I couldn't find anything regarding Jessica online. My meds are considered specialty ones per my pharmacist. So I want to confirm those are available before driving down there... I'll have my US passport on hand!

I have been going to Nuevo Progresso for about 10 years, usually several times per year. I used a variety of pharmacies that line the main street in the past, but now, I only go to Jessica's. Their prices are the best for most medications. The people who work there are very friendly, too. This pharmacy is down a block and to the right after you enter the Mexican side of the border.

Linda’s is trustworthy. First or second block on the East side of Main Street.
