Dharshan - special pooja - stay at day time

Hello All,

I'm planning to visit the temple and spend a day. I'm arriving Kolhapur around 6 AM in the morning and leaving at 10.50. The Aim is to visit the temple 3 times at least. I have few questions.

1- Do i have to book a hotel to get refreshed and to put my luggage?

2- Is there a possibility to do special pooja? whom i need to approach

3- are there any tour guides available? I can only speak broken hindi ( dont blame me , i was born in UK)

I am sure you must have taken a trip by now but just for the future.

We do a similar itinerary as you are planning.

We generally get a hotel to shower etc and store our luggage. There are multiple near the temple.

The one which we book generally costs 1200-1500 for one day.

For special Pooja. You can approach any of the temple bhadji and they can arrange it. U have to dress up in a sohla and shela( you don't need to get yours. The bhadji guy will have it )

Tbh you don't need a tour guide. Hindi will do just fine. Do the temple and surrounding areas and the hire a rickshaw / car on hire to do half day trip. Rankala. Shahu palace. The museum etc. The driver will be your guide for the most part.
