Marsh Harbor Off-season

Hi, we're considering a vacation to Marsh Harbor this summer - our first time to the Bahamas, actually. Family of 5 - older kids (26, 19, 18) - but because of other activities (summer swim for the youngest and summer classes for the middle) we can't get there until August 11-18. I know this is off-season, but how "off" is off-season? I get that some restaurants and bars will be closed, but how about tour operators like snorkeling and kayaking (two of our favorite water activities)?

Any advice is more than welcome! Thanks

hmmm... I would expect things to be open then and more likely to be closed at some point during September or October. You might post your question on the very active and helpful forum at www.abacoforum.com and see what you come up with about closings.

Enjoy the Abacos!
